Nana Dot's Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was a great recipe for irish soda bread. I wish it was a little more moist. That was my only complaint but I think that's the nature of soda bread.

Peach Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was a super easy meal and my friends loved it. I used fresh peaches which was probably the most time consuming but you could probably use canned peaches and it would be just as good.

Pumpkin Toffee Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was a wonderful recipe. It was a little time consuming but definitely worth it. Very rich and you should probably make this for a LARGE party since you really can only eat a small piece at a time.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
This was a fantastic recipe. My step-dad HATES anything that has pumpkin in it and he ate all of the cookies leaving none for my mother. Great recipe and really easy.

This was a fantastic recipe and it even reheated great the next day. I don't think they were too sweet at all. The perfect blend of spices.

This was a great recipe and really easy to make. We sauteed the onions before mixing them in and it was great that way.

Chicken Balsamico

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
This was an absolutely fantastic recipe; I seared the chicken in a pan before baking and I didn't have any kalamata olives but the recipe is perfect as is.

Island Kielbasa in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
I did this in the slow cooker and I wouldn't recommend that; the kielbasa was overcooked since it's already precooked and the sauce was very acidic; I'm not all that creative in the kitchen so I'm not sure what I would have done to decrease the acidity. I would probably decrease the amount of ketchup in the recipe.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
This was a wonderful recipe. I added 2 tbsp of maple syrup and sprinkled with confectioner's sugar, put this in an 8X13 baking dish and cooked it for 25 minutes; my husband ate the whole thing. I'm making it again this weekend!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I thought this was a fantastic meal. I made it with brown rice and baked asparagus. It was fantastic. Very similar to a marsala but much lighter.
