Ham and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
This was so easy! All the skills you need are to mix the ingredients together and watch the time. My friends and I all think that it was very delicious!

This is a very delicious recipe. It tastes like the restaurant style! Thanks!

Singapore Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2011
Great recipe! It was a bit too spicy, so you can reduce the red pepper flakes. I think 1/2 teaspoon is probably enough. I cooked this for a work potluck and everyone loved it. I made a vegan version though with no chicken and more soy sauce, instead of using oyster sauce.

Super Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2011
This is a good soup, but I agree with the comments about how you need to add chicken broth and cream of chicken to make it more flavorful. A great soup for a sick friend or just to eat on a cold day.

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
I made this twice and loved it each time. I need to remember to bake it in a loaf pan so it will look like a loaf. Very delicious!! I followed the comments to double the sauce since I like it with more sauce.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2012
Thanks for the delicious recipe! The banana bread came out moist and yummy. Make sure you have overripe bananas. I didn't have enough riped bananas so I had to use some regular bananas. It took longer trying to mash a good banana.

General Tsao's Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
I think it tastes delicious even though I only deep fry once. It is just too much oil and sugar. Very delicious though so I will cook this once in a while. At least cooking it myself is healthier than Panda Express. Hahaha. All of my housemates really enjoyed it, so it's definitely a keeper. I recommend doubling the serving size to 12 if you're going to serve 6, because only chicken, broccoli, and rice is not enough. It tastes so good that people want seconds!

Brilliant Sauteed Broccoli

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
I really liked the first two steps to boil the broccoli, soak it in cold water, and then dry it before sauteeing. It helps the broccoli retain its crunchiness. However, I didn't like the red pepper flakes with it, because it turned out too spicy. I don't know if it's because I added red chili flakes instead. The combo of red pepper (chili) flakes and Parmesan cheese didn't taste delish, but the brown sugar was good.

California Roll Sushi

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. My CA rolls look very pretty. After learning how to make this, I don't think I would want to buy CA rolls from restaurants anymore. The ingredients are so simple and easy to prepare. Most of the time is spent cooking the rice and cutting.

American Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2011
It tastes good using only 1 cup of mayo with 4 pounds of potatoes. 2 cups seem too fattening. Also, as a warning red potatoes are expensive. This is not a budget friendly potato salad recipe.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2011
I made it the cookie version instead by using Trader Joe's mini peanut butter cups. Great recipe! It was harder to make it all pretty looking as a cookie though.

My housemates and I made this for a potluck. Great appetizer but cheese is too pricey.

Baingan Bharta (Eggplant Curry)

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
I tripled this recipe so it will be enough for 12 servings. My friends really liked it and thinks it is really authentic! I left out the tomato since one of my friends don't eat tomatoes. It still tastes really good without the tomato. Get some naan from the store! It tastes really delicious with naan.

Gobi Aloo (Indian Style Cauliflower with Potatoes)

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2013
Remember to turn down the heat when you are cooking the potatoes. They get easily burn. I will have to try making it with coconut milk or adding water next time, cause it does taste dry like another reviewer says.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2013
I couldn't find ziti from Safeway, so I used rigatoni instead. It was still easy to cook and tasted very delicious. I had to boil the rigatoni longer than 8 minutes though for it to be soft.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
I cooked this since I had all of the ingredients at home already. The chicken tasted out a bit more sour than I expected. I guess I'm not a big fan of balsamic vinegar.

Spinach Enchiladas

This tasted really delicious and the directions were easy to follow! I ran out of time so I didn't heat the tortillas in the skillet. It still turned out fine.
