Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Wow is all I can say! I doubled this recipe and they didn't last a day. I used freshly ground whole wheat flour and unsweetened preserves- delicious!!!!

Cubanos Frijoles

This is so good!! It is now in the meal rotation at my house. I use 1 lb ground turkey and 1 lb ground pork, skip the cilantro, olives and chipotle powder and use apple cider vinegar instead of the red wine. It's awesome- everyone loves it and it is quick and easy other than making the beans (I use dry black beans, not canned). Thanks so much!

Chicken Oreganato

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! This is my "go-to" chicken recipe when I have dinner guests. It is so good!! I have used boneless, skinless thighs, bone-in thighs, drumsticks, even leg quarters- it is always a huge hit no matter what part of the chicken I use. I add a little rosemary and garlic powder into the rub. I also pour off some of the oil in the bottom of the pan before I turn the chicken. It gives the chicken such a wonderful chewy texture. Thanks so much for the recipe!!

Fantastic Focaccia Bread

I make this all the time. I use 100% freshly ground whole wheat flour, so it's a little more dense than if you use all purpose flour. I also add about a tablespoon of vital wheat gluten. I also addrosemary which makes it smell wonderful while it's baking, and I add a little more salt. This is a family favorite. I serve it whenever I make soups with extra virgin olive oil and black pepper for dipping. Delicious!!

Zucchini Herb Casserole

I have been making this a lot and it is awesome as written except I cook the zucchini for a lot longer before adding the tomatoes and rice- like 20 minutes- because we like it to be really soft. We scramble eggs with the leftovers and it's just delicious. Today I modified it and it was so delicious I had to share. I added about a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in addition to the seasonings and substituted salsa for the tomatoes. I had leftover pinto beans and brown rice and used those instead of plain rice. It is SO GOOD. So there's another twist to this incredibly yummy zucchini recipe!! Thanks so much :)

Christmas Ornament Cookies

These cookies were incredibly good! We didn't use them as ornaments, just made them to decorate and eat. The first batch didn't even make it to decorating, we just gobbled them up! This dough was the best for cutouts. I chilled it for only a half hour and it was wonderful. I think if you changed the name of the recipe to Christmas Cookie Cutouts you would have a ton of rave reviews- I don't think enough people are finding this gem of a cookie recipe :) Thanks for the new favorite!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Classic Gingerbread Cutouts

Well, I didn't have molasses, allspice OR cloves! But I used this recipe anyway. I used maple syrup instead of the molasses, doubled the cinnamon and crossed my fingers. They turned out really great! Of course, they're not really gingerbread cookies, but they were nice and crunchy and easy for the kids to decorate. I'm sure with the correct ingredients they are wonderful. The dough was just perfect and got easier to work with as I handled it. A keeper! Thanks!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars

Try 1 cup cinnamon chips (Hersheys makes them- they are not red hots, they are just like chocolate chips only cinnamon) and 1 cup chocolate chips, no pecans- heavenly!!! Thanks so much!

Cheeseburger Soup I

Very good! I used beef broth instead of chicken. Next time I might use more than a 1/2 pound of ground beef. My kids said it's great, but where is the cheeseburger part??

Parmesan Chicken II

Delicious! It smells so wonderful while it is cooking...we couldn't wait to eat! I sprinkled more parmesan over the top when I was done rolling the chicken, just to be sure it was all covered. A definite keeper.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These were so good! The kids had so much fun making them. We shaped ours like letters and spelled out our names. What a fun project! I cut the flour down to 4 cups also after reading some of the reviews. I also added a tablespoon of bread dough enhancer. I don't know if that helped or not, but my dough was just perfect. We dipped ours in mustard. Absolutely delicious!! Great recipe!

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

EXCELLENT!! Wow this was so good! I didn't think it was too salty at all, but I love salt. I did add a dollop of sour cream at the end just to make it more stroganoff-y. This was the only good recipe I could find that didn't have a ton of sour cream and cream soup mix in it. It really gives it a 'from scratch' taste. I will be making this again for sure!! I read another reviewer's comments that this was like manwich mix- I might just spice it up and use it for that as well. Good suggestion!

Beef Stew IV

This is the best beef stew ever! Everyone loved it and my husband took the leftovers to work for lunch today. I followed the recipe exactly, but instead of removing all the meat when I added the cornstarch, I just mixed the cornstarch on the side with a little water and dumped that right in. I will have to triple this recipe next time! Thanks a lot!
