This is the closest I've come to recreating this steak sauce. The onion and garlic can be tweaked to fit your family's personal taste, as it's written it can be a bit over-powering, even when left to mellow for an hour or two in the fridge.
For anyone familiar with making their own mayonnaise it will be obvious that this recipe takes advantage of the principles of emulsion. Because there is no vinegar or lemon juice this sauce does break somewhat in the fridge, but giving it a quick stir works fine. I'm experimenting to make a stronger emulsion.
