Baked Ham and Cheese Party Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2013
Easy and delicious. We had some pretzel slider rolls so I used those and I didn't have any Dijon mustard so I had to use regular yellow. They were good but I bet they would be FABULOUS with the Dijon. Definitely recommend that you give it a try.

Sausage and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
It was easy and delicious. I even cheated - I made it in the morning so it didn't get the night of soaking. We still enjoyed it and cooked up great.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2012
The title says it all. It is definitely the best lemonade I have ever had. I used 2# of lemons and got enough fresh lemon juice and once I added it to the simple sugar syrup & water it was done. I filled a glass with ice, poured some lemonade in and had to admit it is the best lemonade that I've ever had.

Buffalo Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Delicious. Day before grocery shopping is always a creative dinner night and this was actually very good. Easy to make and all ingredients we had on hand. The hot sauce is definitely what makes this recipe so good - just enough of a kick.

Peanut Butter Apple Dip

I love this recipe, I lost my copy and found it here on Allrecipes. My kids love this easy and delicious apple dip - sometimes they don't even get the apples cut before they start eating it! Thanks for posting

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
I had some leftover white sticky rice that I used to make this pudding. I left out the raisins, since I didn't have any on hand. It's a delicious and very creamy pudding. Definitely going in my recipe box for future use.

Favorite Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2012
Easy. We had to smell the wonderful aroma all afternoon while it cooked. I did end up having to use more water, mine cooked dry about 45 minutes into the cooking time but it still turned out delicious. My 4# roast tested at 150 degrees at 1 hour and a half so I added my vegetables then. It was done in about 45 more minutes. The gravy worked out great, I probably could have used less than 1/2 cup flour though. Overall a very tasty and easy recipe.

Frosted Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Like another reviewer, I normally don't make recipes with few reviews but most of the reviews were great so i thought I'd try these cookies. They are easy and delicious, reminds me of what they might serve at a tea party. I had to sub a few things. I used coconut oil for the shortening and I added a little bit of OJ to my icing because mine was too thick. The peels give a nice texture & flavor to the cookies. Definitely worth a try, I don't think this recipe will disappoint.

Garlic Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
Great way to serve brussel sprouts. I used frozen brussel sprouts and didn't put the X on them but it still turned out delicious. Other than those small adaptations, I followed the recipe exactly and will be making it again. Very easy.

Texas Sheet Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
I am always excited to find eggless cake recipes that taste good. This is an incredibly delicious cake. Make sure to use a sheet pan (not 9x13) and don't worry about the icing being thick, as some reviewers mentioned. Mine was like spreading fudge on top of the cake but I got it on and when we ate it at the birthday party all we heard was praise. Trust the recipe, it worked for us and is very rich, delicious and chocolatey just like Texas sheet cake should be. Oh, I did sub out the sour cream and used plain yogurt instead. Great recipe.

Eggless Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2011
Delicious, economical, and easy to make. I was worried as I was adding the oil because even though I was streaming it slowly the mayo didn't seem to be thickening. I stuck it in the fridge and as it cooled it thickened and tastes like a really good mayo. No HFCS or other preservatives in our mayo now!

Buzzsaw's BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I used it as a quick BBQ sauce for some leftover shredded chicken that I wanted to use on sandwiches. It was vinegary (in my opinion) as another reviewer commented so I added some more molasses and about 2t of honey. Still had a tang, which is ok and it's not too sweet - which is what I was going for. Easy to make.

Mexican Wedding Cakes II

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2011
These were easy to make & delicious. I have never made them before but they are my husband's favorite so I thought I'd try. I did alter 2 things - I added 1t of vanilla as one reviewer suggested & I only added 5T of powdered sugar. The dough was crumbly and I was worried that I messed something up but they held together and baked up great. We rolled them in powdered sugar after they were completely cooled.

Turkey a la King

We doubled the recipe and followed it as written. Turned out great. I served it over mashed potatoes and biscuits - their choice. Great way to use up some leftover turkey (and potatoes).

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
This is a keeper in our house. I made this for Thanksgiving & there are people with nut & egg allergies so I had to adapt a bit but it turned out great. I left out the nuts (they probably add a nice crunch) and I substituted the eggs with 1T ground flaxseed + 3T water (let it sit 10 minutes to reconstitute) and they turned out wonderful. Very delicious & easy to make!

Steak House Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2011
I followed this recipe closely & thought it was very delicious. My kids didn't like it, they thought it was too garlicky. They have a great flavor and I think the name is fitting - they taste like potatoes you would order at a steak hous.

Delicious. We followed the recipe exactly. I forgot how chocolatey homemade pudding can be; but we loved it! Very easy pie to make, just be sure to cool completely before eating - makes it easier to cut (we were too anxious).
