Creamed Beef for SOS

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2012
I made this tonight. I did it exactly like the recipe said except I did use two cups of milk, which I thought made just the right consistency. It was absolutely delicious! Who would think something so simple could taste so good. The blend of seasonings is perfect~ Can't wait to make it again!!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I made this last night, and we loved it! My man said it melts in your mouth... and it DOES! I had huge 1 inch thick bone in chops, so I did them at 350 for 1 and 1/2 hours then let them rest, still covered for 15 minutes. Everything else exactly as the recipe says. It was the best pork chop I ever ate! Will make this again and again!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
I love this recipe! I've made it twice. The first time, I thought it was delicious but it was a bit salty for my taste. The second time, I used low sodium mushroom soup and only used half the pack of onion soup mix and au jus mix. I like it much better this way. This is a keeper and it will become a regular in my house!

Cauliflower Romaine Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
I made this tonight and we loved it! So simple, yet so delicious. I love that the cauliflower is grated, the bread is crumbled, and I cut the lettuce very small so you never get a big bite of just one thing. Just all the flavors blended together so well! The dressing is awesome... it would be good on any salad. I'll be making this one again and again I'm sure! Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken In Basil Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
I already rated this once, but I made it again tonight and it was even better than before. I love, love, love this recipe! The sauce is so delicious, it's like something you'd order in a nice Italian Restaurant and you would NOT be disappointed! Yum, Yum, Yum!

Marinated Ranch Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
We loved it! I marinated it overnight and all day (about 21 hours) and did everything exactly as the recipe says. I wouldn't change a thing! My husband said "That chicken really has a LOT of flavor." I broiled it and it took a little longer, but I just used my meat thermometer and broiled 10 minutes on one side, then turned it and broiled until it came to 160 degrees. Will be making this again for sure! I served with fettucine alfredo with peas and mushrooms added. Great meal! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2014
OH. MY. GOODNESS. There are not enough stars to rate this high enough! Like others, I was so tempted to change some things because it sounds a little plain. But I didn't. Made it just like it says except I cooked it longer because I had a five pound chicken. We loved it! The flavor is amazing, and so juicy and tender! So robinrockingbird's granny knows her stuff!

Pork Chops with Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
I made this mostly as written, and we loved it! I did season my pork chops with garlic salt and pepper, and I used less sour cream than it said, but other than that just simmered them in the sauce for about an hour until they were melt in your mouth tender. The sour cream gives is a nice stroganoff flavor. I served it over egg noodles, and it was soooo good! I will absolutely be making this again!

Tater Crisp Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
I made this tonight, and we really liked it. I did add some seasonings, just a little parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika to the potato mix. So easy and the chicken was juicy and tender! I'm glad I found this one, it's a keeper!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
I made this tonight. I added a photo. I did add 2 t. of cinnamon, just because I love the taste of it. This pie is delicious! But my oven must cook hotter than most. Fifteen minutes at 425 was just too much in my oven and it had some burned places on top by the time I turned the oven down. So next time, I'd do 400 for 10 minutes instead. Other than that, this is VERY yummy!
