I made this for Easter dinner and my whole family loved it. The gingersnap crust was especially cool.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2012
My family LOVES this recipe: it's hot, gooey, and tasty. We had to bake ours for thirty minutes, because at twenty minutes the blondies were still "soup".

Cinnamon Roasted Sweet Potatoes

So tasty! We gobbled these up, and they were very kid friendly, although they were perhaps a tad sweet. An instant hit!

Fluffy Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
I LOVE this cocoa! My family all rated it "five stars!" I did add more sugar though (some comments said it wasn't sweet enough) and used cinnamon instead of vanilla.

White Chili II

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
My husband and I really enjoyed this hearty chili, adding black beans and serving large portions. My daughter also tried a teacup full, although my son shook his head 'no.' Any ideas of how to make this recipe more kid-friendly?

Black Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
I've made this recipe twice and each time I've been pleased with the results. My daughter is NOT a pepper-lover, so we compromised with one red pepper, a deal that was kid-friendly and was tasty for me and my husband. We added lime and cilantro, too.

Cheesy Beans and Rice

Had a "LITE" version of this dish. Pretty good, minus the chiles and tomatoes, plus a tbls (or teaspoon) of lime juice. Wahla: It's kid friendly!

Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2011
GREAT! This is so good: I had my family eating just frosting. Because I was making a coconut cream cake, I added...coconut. Spread on white cake. This is amazing! :)

Coconut Cream Cake I

Made a crude version of this -yum! But It didn't have much oil in it, so it crumbled a little. I'd add a tad more: almost half a cup, stirred in well.

This recipe is screaming KID! I liked it, too, but it's a little simple. Mother of two, this is for you!

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
Although this is truly yummy, it's also quite dry. My family called our pizza the "Pizza Cracker". I cooked it for 13 mins, and it burned!

My Chili

Yum. This is pretty good, but I added beans and red pepper flakes like JAN 8 reviewer. Trying to be cheap and healthy: left out the burger and served it on potatoes.

Fresh Tasting Black Beans With Rice

This is quick and pretty good...but bland. I'd put tomato sauce on it for flavor if I made it again. Chile!

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
This is a scrumptious, mouthwatering recipe! The only setback was a small amount of oil residue over the top because I used a non-stick cooking spray.
