Pasta Pomodoro

I didn't have anything, sonI had to make some tweaks. I used well drained cans of petite diced tomatoes instead of Roma tomatoes. I used 1tsp dried basil instead of fresh. Also, I'll use less oil next time since I don't think 1/4c is necessary. So good with the modifications! It would be even better with the fresh ingredients!! P.S. I omitted the red pepper because I always do.

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

We have had this recipe "as is" so many times and absolutely love it! To cut down on fat I sometimes do half cream and half reg milk.

Whipped Cream Icing I

Really good as is, but it doesn't make much. I prefer to do the same as other reviewers and double everything except the gelatine. This way you not only get more, but the consistency is a bit lighter.

Tuscan Pasta

The recipe is great as is. Just for kicks I also added 1/4cup of white wine and some broccoli. Adding the broccoli gave me way too many veggies, so I added only the veggies I wanted to the sauce. I'll find other uses for the leftover sautéed veggies.

Potato Soup V

This only gets 4 stars because it NEEDS to have cheese and/or bacon added to it to be good. Other than that it's great! A couple of other things I add for fun is diced garlic (I add garlic to everything), and grated carrots. The carrots are pretty much just for color.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

So good! I don't have a baking stone, so I pre baked my crust for 7 min, added toppings, then baked it for an additional 15 min. Turned out exactly how I wanted it to - crunchy but not hard. Next time I'm going to brush it with butter to give it more flavor.

Sylvia's Ribs

As is, the recipe is too sweet for my taste. All I did to fix this was add more BBQ sauce and steak sauce. After marinating all day I put the ribs in a heavy foil pouch and left them on the grill at lowest heat for an hour (30 min one side, 30 min on the other side). I opened the foil and the result was fall off the bone flavorful meat! Delicious!!!!!

Alfredo Sauce

This is a great basic Alfredo recipe. Although, I used powered Parmesan and it turned out a little grainy. Also, I used evaporated milk and it was a little too rich. So follow the recipe as is!

One Dish Bourbon Chicken

Great recipe! My family loved it. You can def taste the bourbon (but no alcohol taste) so make sure you use a decent kind. That may be why others had trouble with this recipe.

Chicken Enchiladas I

So good!! As others have said, it did come out soupy, but I just used a slotted spoon to fill the tortillas, then poured the liquid over top the filled enchiladas. Like others, I used salsa instead of tomato sauce and a can of green chillies instead of the bell pepper. I will definitely make this again!
