Three Cheese Chicken Penne Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
This is a very delicious and easy recipe. I ended up using 2 1/2 cups of noodles because 1 1/2 cups wouldn't have been enough. I ended up using half diced tomato with chilies because that is what I had and I added extra seasonings with extra cheese.. Yummy :-)

Beef and Bean Chimichangas

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2011
This is a great recipe but it would be better with less taco sauce, maybe only 1 cup. I will probably make this again.

Spanish Rice II

A very delicious restaurant style spanish rice. Based on the reviews I added 1tsp of cumin and reduced the chili powder to 1tsp. Thank you for the great recipe :-)

Late-Night Breadsticks

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2011
This is a good quick recipe if you need breadsticks in a pinch. I used thawed buttermilk biscuits because that is what I had on hand but they turned out good :-)

Rice Balls a la Tim

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
This recipe is pretty good. I accidentally misread the recipe and added 1 pound of beef and they still turned out great. I added some italian seasoning to the pasta sauce and ground beef.

Cake Mix Cookies VII

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
Great recipe to change up to suit your tastes. I added 1/2 cup of macadamia nuts and a little more than 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips with french vanilla cake mix. Next time I will try them with applesauce instead of oil to try to cut some calories :-)

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
The dish was good, but nothing too spectacular. I added an extra tablespoon of lemon juice which made it a tad bit too sour and half an onion chopped with the garlic.

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
I just made this dish for the first time and I thought it was pretty good. I added 1/4 cup of worcestershire sauce and substituted the broth for 1 cup of water with 1 packet of beef gravy. Instead of the carrots I added a 1 1/2 of frozen mixed veges as well. Nice hearty meal. :-)

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
I made this into a one pan dish by sauteing up the chicken first then letting it rest while I made the rest of the sauce. I wanted extra sauce so I added 2 cups of broth and 1 cup of tomatoes. Instead of heavy cream I used 1 cup of milk and thickened it up with cornstarch, making it slightly healthier. It was delicious :-)

Super Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
I substituted a pound of turkey sausage and it came out great. I didn't crumble up the sausage enough so the gravy had larger chunks. If you prefer a gravy that is chunkier then leave the recipe as is but if you prefer more of a saucier gravy i suggest doubling the milk and flour :-)

I made this recipe as written and I thought it was delicious and healthy. I liked the tomato on top but my boyfriend wasn't to fond of it. I served it the the Parmesan noodle dish also on this website. I will make this recipe again :-)

Garlic Cheese Quick Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
I thought this recipe was quick and good and a great side to my pasta dish. I baked it in my muffin tin for 20 min and they turned out great. I reduced the sugar to 1/8 cup and I increased the garlic to 1 1/2 teaspoons because I like extra garlic. Thank you for the recipe :-)

Fluffy Pancakes

Very good pancakes. Following other recommendations, I let the batter sit for about 5 min. before I started cooking it. I'm not sure if it make a difference or not though. I also added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter as well... Thank you for the recipe, I will make them again :-)

Slow-Cooked Country Ribs in Gravy

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
In my opinion, the ribs were not that flavorful, even with all those strong flavored ingredients in the sauce. Although my boyfriend said he liked the ribs, I will not make this recipe again.

Three Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
I thought these were wonderful cookies for so few ingredients. I bake mine for 10 minutes and I also add 1/4 cup flour for a little more of a bite. Also, occasionally I press a chocolate kiss into the tops of the cookies as soon as they come out of the oven; makes for a yummy cookie as well :-)
