The Best Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I love this banana pudding. It's so good! I add less bananas 3 to 5. It depends on what size dish you're making- mine is 9x12. I start layering the dish this way: little bit of pudding, next two layers of whole cookies, next lots of crumbled cookies, then the rest of pudding. The top: whole cookies all around and then crumble lots of cookies at the top. Lovely!

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
This ambrosia is really good. I added less coconuts (only 1 cup) and please do not put milk in this ambrosia. It's not necessary. You don't want it to be runny! I give this recipe 4 stars because of the milk, however, mine would get a 5!

I followed this recipe exactly as it is. The blueberry muffins were delicious!I do not like toppings on my muffins, so I ignored that part. Five stars from me! Thank you.

The aroma that these banana nut muffins leave in your home... smells so good! And to top it off, these are the best muffins ever! I only use a dash of salt in this recipe.

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
This sweet potato pie is pretty good. I put a little cornstarch in mine to hold it all together. I only put a pinch of nutmeg in it. My grandma used to make the best sweet potato pies ever!

Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
This cake was a lot of work, but well worth it. It's so good and so rich! Don't be shy with the food coloring. The more you use, the deeper the red. I use 1 stick of butter, instead of shortening. I also use 1/2 stick cream cheese.

Apple Butterscotch Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
When making the filling: use light brown sugar, half and half, 1/2 stick butter, 1 tsp of vanilla, lil lemon juice, cinnamon and cornstarch. I use 6 to 7 apples. The butterscotch is so good! I don't like crumb texture in a apple pie. I like my apple pie to be like a cobbler doughy inside.

Boil macaroni only 5 minutes, it's going in the oven. Add to macaroni: milk, eggs, seasoning salt, and a whole lotta cheese! Please do not hold back on the cheese!!! Velveeta at the top- brown that top in the oven.
