Rebecca's Wild Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2013
This was very good. I used shallots instead of green onions, and I cooked it in a skillet on the stove top and then transfered it into a baking dish after all ingredients were combined. I also baked it for an hour and a half, based on the other review. It turned out great. I made it with the balsamic pork loin recipe also on allrecipes and they went very well together.

Blue Cheese Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: May 22, 2013
I have taken this to several potlucks and it is always a big hit. I only use about 1/2 the butter and maybe 3/4 of the blue cheese dressing called for in the recipe. Serve with celery sticks and fritos scoops for dipping.

Maple Glazed Chicken with Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: May 18, 2011
I was skeptical about this at first. Onions and maple syrup didn't seem like a logical combination, but it was so good! I followed the recipe exactly, and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you for the recipe!

Couscous and Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
This is an excellent summer salad! Save the couscous to add last, after all the other ingredients have been mixed together in the bowl. Then you can add it gradually until you reach the couscous to cucumber ratio that suits you. I didn't quite use it all.

Quinoa and Black Bean Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2011
Fabulous chili! The quinoa was an excellent substitute for ground beef or turkey. It's very high in protein for a grain, so you keep the protein and skip the fat. I will definitely be making this again!

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
This was wonderful and so easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly, using dry Marsala wine, and served it over brown jasmine rice with broccoli. Loved it!

Vegan Lasagna I

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
I made this for my dad, who is a vegan. He loved it, as did the rest of the family, even the meat eaters. It is even better reheated the second day!

Balsamic Chicken with White Beans and Spinach

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
This was quite good. I added sliced cremini mushrooms in with the garlic in step 2. My family really enjoyed this, including my 4 year old.

Moroccan Salmon Cakes with Garlic Mayonnaise

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
I have tried this recipe with and without the orange juice, and they turned out great both ways. Also, I used pink salmon instead of red, to avoid having to pick out the skin and bones from the canned red salmon.
