Guacamole

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2014
This guacamole is perfect the way it is written, nice balance of flavors. After reading so many reviews I added cumin the 2nd time and I have to say it is equally as good either way.

Cioppino

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
Scott is the Seafood King. I just realized that I also rated his clams and garlic which was superb as well. I don't think you can go wrong with any little changes you make to this one. I used only shrimp, scallops and clams. I also substituted chicken broth for seafood stock and didn't use a bay leaf (just forgot to add it). I put in a ton of fresh basil and an extra can of tomatoes (personal preference). There were 6 of us and everyone agreed that it was sensational. Thank you Scott. Now I am going to see what other recipes you have on All Recipes.

Risotto with Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
It was my first time making risotto and it came out perfect. I did add chopped and sauted portobellos to it and it was delicious.

Scott Ure's Clams And Garlic

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2007
Bravo, this recipe deserves a standing ovation as my company nearly gave me one. I tripled this recipe for a dinner party and it was a huge hit, we didn't have one clam left and the broth was soaked up with crusty bread. I hardly needed to serve a main course.

I have made this twice, using whatever fresh vegies I had on hand and was a total winner both times. I can't wait to have company and can serve it to them.

All you need to complete this recipe is a crusty loaf of bread and a good bottle of wine. I only used a handful of spinach.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
Very flavorful, moist and tender pork chops. It did take me close to 2 hours to cook (until the liquid evaporated), but well worth the wait. I removed the chops and lightly browned the onions. I also used 2 onions instead of 1. It was a huge hit! Thanks.

Asparagus Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2003
This one is a keeper. It is delicious and easy to make. A huge success at a party. I make it without the crust as I am low carbing and I have substituted the cheese for the packaged 4 Cheese Blend and it comes out great each time. Freezes nicely too.
