Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

These are wonderful and have become the traditional (and MUCH requested) Christmas/Thanksgiving breakfast at our house! They take me longer than 90 minutes (only because they don't rise very fast in my cold kitchen) but are well worth the wait. I top with cream cheese icing - YUM! YUM! YUM!

Mmm-Mmm Better Brownies

Brownies are my favorite dessert & these did not disappoint! I doubled the recipe, used 1/2 c. melted butter & 1/2 c. oil (mainly because after I started realized I only had 1/2 c oil), sprinkled handful of choc. chips & toffee chips (not sure they were needed), cooked in 9x13 pan for 30 minutes - YUM!

Cream Puffs

SOOO happy! I never knew I could make delicious cream puffs at home! Only 4 stars - recipe is good, but I agree with others that the instructions are somewhat lacking. Follow MommyfromSeattle's instructions exactly and you will not be disappointed! Thank you for this easy, fun recipe! I'm going to make them again next week for Easter dinner! :)

Apple Strudel Muffins

These were so tasty & tricked my picky daughter into thinking they were cinnamon muffins (ok, well maybe I "forgot" to mention the apple part). I grated 2 medium apples (so there were no chunks) and used 1/2 c. white, 1/2 c. brown sugar as others did. I only had 1/4 c. softened butter so I put in about 1/2 c. applesauce.

Brooklyn Girl's Penne Arrabiata

This was a quick, tasty, filling meal! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I changed it and I can't very well give it 5 stars if I change it. To save calories and time I didn't bothering breading then cooking the chicken. Just diced chicken breast, partially cooked, made sauce and put chicken back in sauce to continue cooking while sauce simmered (it was tender and yummy). Also, I added a bit of white wine to the sauce (just 'cause) and I didn't have fresh basil so used dried. YUM!
