It was definitely easy to make and good. Mine were a little dry and that might have been because I brushed the top with butter, but did not dunk in the whole muffin in the butter as some reviewers said it made it soggy then and hard to keep in one piece. I left out the nutmeg and put in cinnamon because I did not have nutmeg. I used my 24 mini muffin pan and while I doubled the recipe, I only got 24 plus a bit more batter left for maybe 4 more which I did not make. I don't know why this happened. The size of my muffins looked like ones people posted, so not sure why I did not get 48. That is a huge difference and I double checked to make sure I did, in fact, double recipe and I did.
I am not sure if I will make these again because as I said, they are kind of dry, but to be fair, I should make them again and roll the entire muffin in butter as it says.
