Chocolate Chip Eggnog Balls

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
I tried this recipe and followed the instructions carefully but I still came up with a runny batter. I even tried to thicken it a bit with more sugar but it still won't form into balls. Too bad, it sounded so good.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
I just finished baking these and they are already disappearing. These are the best Snickerdoodles I've ever had and my husband and friends agree. I made one change. I didn't have cream of tartar so I substituted 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder. Didn't make a bit of difference!

Berries 'N' Cream

Reviewed: May 13, 2011
I made this with nonfat Greek yogurt in place of the sour cream and added a little vanilla - still very delicious and also very healthy. Thanks for a really easy and great dessert/breakfast!

Zucchini Cakes

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
I've been making these for years and they are delicious. One thing though, you should definitely drain the zucchini thoroughly after shredding. I put it in a colander and cover with paper towels, then weight it down with a large soup can, let it sit for about 20 minutes. It makes a huge difference!

Spicy Steamed Shrimp

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
Very tasty but I think my way is 5 stars instead of 4. I roast the shrimp at 400 degrees just until pink on a baking sheet with a little salt, pepper, and olive oil. Then I season as the recipe suggests. Delicious and more depth of flavor when roasted instead of steamed. Also, I think the texture is better this way, too.

Great Grandma's Bread Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
I'm curious, what's the baking powder for? I've been making stuffing for 40+ years and never heard that before.
