Spicy Pumpkin and Sweet Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2012
I made this soup exactly as the recipe states and it is amazing. Love the taste and texture of the soup. I am still deciding if I want to add in the coconut milk as suggested by another because I love cream soups. But I love it just as it stands.

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2013
Love this banana bread. I didn't have nuts but added 1/2 cup of some of my homemade granola which had nuts in it. I also added 1 tsp of Penzeys pumpkin pie spice. Great flavor and texture. I also mashed the banana.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2012
This was absolutely amazing. Beautiful presentation and delicious. Everyone raved about how good it was. I used the whole oreo cookie and added only a tbsp of sugar and 1/4 of butter for the crust. The raspberry sauce is very good. I used the frozen, didn't want to risk the shortcut with the jam, I was afraid it would be to sweet. I will make this again...

Italian Kale

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2012
I love this! Just tried kale for the first time and have tried several variations of this dish. I added some cooked sliced red beets and leeks which added color and texture. This will be a go to dish for a quick, healthy supper.

Danny's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
This is delicious. After reading other reviews I added velveeta cheese and milk to make it creamier. It is the bomb. I always used to make stewed tomatoes as a side dish so why not put them right in it!

Russian Green Bean and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
I really enjoyed this soup. Very different. I love all the ingredients. I used dried dill because I didn't have fresh. I also used the whole can of sauerkraut. I used plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream. I think this soup will be even better the next day after the flavors meld.... I will make it again. Yummmm.

This is the first rib roast I ever cooked. It turned out fantastic. My roast was boneless and I followed the directions. This recipe is a keeper. I made a rub using fennel seeds and coriander, salt, pepper and garlic salt. Yummmmm.

Fried Rice I

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
I liked this recipe. I left out the bacon. But in the future I would add pork, shrimp or chicken if I had it. It was great just with vegetables. I followed others suggestions and used cooked cold rice and it was not mushy at all.

Honey-Ginger Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2013
Wow...this is super fabulous! Only change I made was to use fresh garlic and fresh ginger. I am not a salmon lover, but I LOVE this salmon. Will make it again. Great dish for company. I served it with Basmati rice and grilled mixed vegetables. Very easy.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2013
I really enjoyed these muffins. I substituted Flax Plus for bran. I also used dried blueberries and 1/2 cup of chopped mixed nuts. I added 1 tsp of Penzeys Apple Pie spice. They were very moist and tasted like a muffin you would get at a high quality B&B. I will be making these again.

I made this dish and served it with the Honey ginger grilled salmon as another person had suggested. The only change I made to this was to add spring onions. It is a fabulous dish. My entire family loved it! We had no leftovers!

Peach Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2012
This pie was great....One key is to cut up your fruit, mix with the sugar and tapioca and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. I often use tapioca for my thickener in pies but you must let it set with the sugar prior to baking. I also sprinkled my top crust with cinnamon sugar.
