About this Cook
I am turning 29 in February and have a beautiful family to share my life with. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes! I always recieve compliments on the foods that i prepare and I love it! :)
My favorite things to cook
I really like to prepare Italian dishes. Its one of my favorites to eat too!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My son and I always bake holiday cookies together and we have most of our in depth conversations while I prepare dinner! I'm looking forward to sharing that with my daughter when she becomes of age!
My cooking tragedies
I burned meatballs to the bottom of my brand new stainless steel pot. I soaked it over night and it came out sparkling new! I also, almost burnt down our house 7 years ago when I forgot to turn off the burner! Yikes!!!!

Greek Pasta Salad with Roasted Vegetables and Feta
I've made this salad twice and am making it again tomorrow for our Memorial Day picnic with family and friends! We don't care for the taste of arugula so I substituted with baby spinach. And the second time I made this, we used a store bought dressing since I was out of balsamic vinegar and was just as delicious! Thank you for this family favorite recipe!!

Slow Cooker Mediterranean Roast Turkey Breast
This was a good recipe. I added a little water to mine because the onions were burning to my slow cooker. The fregrence of the turkey filled my house in the first hour and smelled so good! I left out the olives but followed the recipe otherwise. The turkey was moist and very flavorful too! Will make again. Thanks for the recipe!

Cream of Fresh Tomato Soup
I made this soup as a last minute dinner tonight because my original plans fell thru. I thought it was great! I used condensed milk intaed of regular milk and added 2 tablespoons of tomato paste for more color and richness to the soup. (regular milk would work just fine, I didnt have any on hand) My husband and kids enjoyed it as well! Thanks for the recipe!
