Goose and Kraut
My boyfriend and his father have so much goose meat during the fall and I wanted to take a stab at my own way to prepare it so I found this recipe and wanted to wow them. They loved it! As for myself never having goose meat before it was good, but I think I enjoyed the sauerkraut more than the actual meat. The brown sugar was definitely good in it, but the meat was still very gamey for me. Overall though great recipe and will keep it in mind for next year!

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary
I made this for me and my boyfriend, he couldn't get enough of it. One of the main things I did was make a rub out of my favorite herbs and minced fresh garlic and rubbed under the top layer of skin (by peelng it back for a sec) and also on the top, then drizzles them with olive oil. Inside the body I stuffed a wedge of lemon and a clove of garlic. And also squeezed fresh lemon and lime juice down over the top of both small birds. I poured a small amount of olive oil in the bottom of the pan, a good amount of chicken broth and a little bit of white cooking wine. I kept basting the birds in the juices every so often to keep them moist. Yummy. I will definitely be making this one again!

Roasted Asparagus with Herbes de Provence
For a second time asparagus eater, and first shot at cooking it this was such a great recipe for me and my family. I used the herbes de Provence with this and also minced up fresh garlic and tossed with olive oil, using tin foil is the best way in the oven on a tray all spread out separately so each piece gets attention. Loved it! Thanks so much
