Sweet Corn Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
This was a great fool proof recipe! I made this as is with no changes and it was perfect. I topped it with honey butter which adds a little more sweetness if that's what you like. I was given plenty of compliments! Thanks for sharing!!

Swanny's Killer Fajitas

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
Easy recipe and easy to tweak! Since I didn't have lime, I used lemon (lime is best but I didn't have it on hand unfortunately) - I omitted the cayenne (kids) and added garlic powder. While the chicken was marinating I started cutting up my veggies, I didn't have a red onion but yellow did just fine. Once the chicken was cooked , I tasted... it needed some salt and a little more chilli powder, cumin and garlic. AH yes that did the trick! :D IF you don't like the dryness of chicken breasts you can mix it up and cut up both chicken breasts and boneless skinless chicken thighs. YUM! Thank you for sharing this great recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2012
Great recipe! I don't have a bread maker so it's a little more work in the front end but totally worth it! Someone has already posted how to make these without a bread machine, thank you!!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2012
This is an excellent recipe! Fluffy and melt in your mouth delicious! Here are a few changes I made; First off make sure you double the recipe for about 4-5 people, instead of using milk and vinegar, I used buttermilk which worked out perfectly, I also cut back on the salt by half and added a tsp of cinnamon and vanilla...YuM! I implore you to try it, the cinnamon and vanilla add just a little bit of warmth to it. My kids LOVED it! Another tip: this batter is a slightly thicker then the bisquick stuff you might be used to so when spooning onto your skillet, make sure you spread it out in a circular motion so you get nice big and round fluffy cakes! Hope this helps! :)

Not your traditional chow mein by any means, but if you like a creamy noodle mixture than this is the recipe for you.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2011
I wanted to try something different this year because I was tired of the same ole candied sweet potatoes with MARSHMALLOWS (yuck!), so I saw this recipe and decided to try it out. I made this AS IS (I didn't have time to do anything more adventurous being I had minimal time) and it came out wonderfully delicious! The reason I had to boil my potatoes rather then roast is because the Turkey was consuming my oven at the time. So... even though it has been recommended to roast (which I agree), it still comes out great even if you boil them! Great recipe, thanks for sharing! :D

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
Excellent recipe!! I highly recommend trying this recipe before all others! I have been trying to find a good banana nut bread and thank gawd I have found it :D My first batch I made a double for my bunt pan, funny thing is doubling made enough for my bunt pan AND an additional 9x5 loaf (good idea for neighbors or co-workers). The only substitutions I made was instead of buttermilk I used sour cream, I cut back the sugar by 1/4 cup, using half white and half brown sugar, I also added vanilla, cinnamon and mini chocolate chips - HEAVEN! I used walnuts instead of pecans, its preference really. Use cinnamon and sugar instead of using flour to dust your pan... trust me, it adds a lil special something to it :) Happy Baking!!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
Simply Delicious! I did however take the advice of others and used confectioners sugar instead of the granulated, it gives it a much better (stiffer) consistency that doesn't drip down the sides. Thanks so much!! :D
