Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Wow!! This is fantastic and so easy. I did not deviate from the recipe but I used a blade meat tenderizer on the pork loin and almost covered the pork with the root beer. I let it sit overnight in the refrigerator. In the morning I set the slow cooker for 6-1/2 hours on low, turning the meat over halfway through the cooking. I drained it and didn't need 2 forks to shred, it was so tender it fell apart using a single fork! I added a jar of BBQ sauce and set it back on low for about 45 minutes. I have never ever had such tender pork! It almost melted in my mouth! I've always smoked my pork when making pulled pork but after having this my smoker may gather dust!

Easy Pot Roast

This is a great recipe! I've tweaked it a bit and use an electric pressure cooker to make it. I brown the roast on both sides in a little olive oil. Mix up a can of cream of mushroom soup, half a can of water, the dry onion soup mix and the worcestershire sauce. Then I put mushrooms (canned if I don't have fresh), carrots and potatoes and a bay leaf on top of the roast. Add the soup mixture over it all. It cooks on high pressure for a little over an hour and the roast comes out so tender and juicy and the gravy is awesome! My husband loves it and asks me to make it at least every other week!

Chef John's Caramel Chicken

Absolutely delicious! I made it as written except I skipped the cilantro and I used only one jalapeno because I thought two would be too spicy. Next time I will use two. I will definitely be making this again!

Skillet-Braised Brussels Sprouts

Awesome recipe! I made it almost exactly as listed except I used a little more garlic, skipped the butter and sprinkled them lightly with the balsamic vinegar. Hubby gave them a thumbs up and he hates brussel sprouts!
