Twice Baked Cheesy Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2014
I will never understand how people can totally change a recipe and then do a review on the original. For heaven's sake, if you make it that differently, you should submit your own recipe. Ok, here's my take. I like these just fine. I would prefer cheddar and parmesan cheese but that's another issue. This recipe is easy and tastes good. Thanks for sharing.

Baked Shrimp and Artichokes over Angel Hair Pasta

Would love to try it, but there's no recipe. To the reviewer who said to click on the blue Shrimp Francesca, that's not the same recipe.

Pork Chops to Live For

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2013
I'm one of those crazy people who likes to try recipes the way they're written and then play with the ingredients after that. I made this exactly as stated, and it turned out ok but very bland. It was extremely easy to make and the pork chops were falling apart, they were so tender. But, the flavor reminded me of something I'd probably be served in a hospital. I hate to write a negative review, but fixing this "as is" just won't work for me.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2012
I've been making this recipe for awhile now and never changed a thing.. simply because it is soooo quick, easy and tasty the way it is. I admit, I would prefer it with fresh chicken and I will do that if we ever have any left over! But as far as the rest of the recipe, I kept it the way it was.. I use Rotel tomatoes w/ green chilies so I monitor the heat and I don't rinse or drain any of the cans. I think the juice from the black beans and corn adds to the flavor. The ingredients are things I buy and just keep on hand. When we feel the urge for this soup, there's no running to the store or waiting all day for the flavors to marry. I sometimes garnish the soup with avocados and sour cream and serve with tortilla chips/strips. What's not to love about this? Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe. BTW, we all know by reading the ingredients that this isn't supposed to be worthy of the Food Network, so don't even try to judge it in that category. But if you want something tasty and quick.. this is for you. TRY IT THE WAY IT READS FIRST.. I don't find the need to add the cream of chicken soup; I think it would alter the taste far too much.

Campbell's® Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
I gave this 3 stars because my family and friends prefer my take on this ages-old recipe. First of all, I never use milk AT ALL and it turns out perfect. Second, I don't mix the onion rings in with the beans because they get soggy. I place them on top during the last 8 mins just to get golden brown. And finally, I add a couple of tablespoons (to suit individual taste) of blue cheese OR cheddar cheese. The blue cheese is our favorite because it gives it a unique taste.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
I'm confused. I was reading through these reviews and I don't understand how someone can follow the receipt precisely and still have either soggy or dry pork chops. I also followed it and you could cut the pork with a fork and the taste was superb! I love home cooking, soul food and 5* restaurants, so don't say it's a matter of taste. There is just no way these could come out less than perfect if you follow the recipe; unless you have an oven that doesn't cook evenly.

Pork Chops with Cranberry Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
This had a wonderful flavor and the pork chops were very tender BUT I followed the recipe to the tee and still the sauce came out really thin. Is there a trick to making it thicken?

Herbed Corn

This was delicious but it could be better. I added the juice from half a lemon and it was great! It gave it the extra zing I was looking for.

Italian Nutthouse Broiled Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I made lamb chops and needed something different for a side dish. I made this but left out the MSG and I added bread crumbs before sprinkling the parmesan on top. DELICIOUS! Easy prep and clean up.
