Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

You can't go wrong with these... I made them for Christmas morning it only took about 90 minutes... I made a quick butter cream glaze and plopped it on when they were warm. Raves. Absolute RAVES. All the flavor and half the work of other recipes! I made mine in a 13x9" pan and decided to forgo the muffin cups... they came out perfect! Thank you GoofyDebbie!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

This is a winner. full stop. You do not need another lemon meringue recipe. Ever. It's easy to follow, I did everything step by step... and it got raves. I also really heavily whisked the curd by hand while cooking and it was very smooth and thick. A GREAT recipe!

David's Yellow Cake

It's a great, go-to cake recipe. I followed it and simply got great results. I have NO IDEA how some folks got cornbread-like results. I occasionally add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to most cake recipes for moisture... I did that here out of habit, I and I did the common conversion to cake flour by using reg flour and cornstarch. My batter was very thick and smooth and baked into one doozy of a delicious cake!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

These are like CRACK. So dangerously easy and very, very good. Make at your own risk... I add some vanilla to the butter/sugar mixture- other variations I have used include substituting white sugar, adding some peppermint extract and using WHITE chocolate chips... oh the humanity! :)

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

NOTE!! * RATING BASED ON RECIPE USING HALF THE AMOUNTS OF BUTTER AND SUGAR!!*** If you cut the butter and sugar by half.. this recipe is a winner. It is moist and delish.. I'm making it for the second time. It was a winner the first time out for me because some nice folks reviewed it and said they cut the butter and sugar by half and I read that BEFORE I tried it and adjusted accordingly... it yields a delectable, moist bread that goes quickly especially when you serve it with chili! :)
