great for a go too King Ranch Chicken. Easiest one I have made but taste as good as the Southern Living one I have been making for years that is a lot more involved!

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
Very good, my husband and daughter loved it. Will make again. I did add shredded carrots and baby corn to the veggies as well as fresh garlic (the more the better). Also stirred in some hoison sauce at the end. The sauce seemed a little thick so I added some water to thin it out as it boiled. Served over jamine rice.

Toll House® White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
Just made these, one word YUMMY! Here is a hint for all those who said they burnt or spread... use parchment paper! I bake all my cookies and cakes with it. Cut a piece the size of the cookie sheet, place the cookies on top, no greasing needed if called for or not. Just be careful as the paper is slippery and will slide. My cookies came out perfect, moist, soft, and a nice shiny top. I followed the recipe as is but did add chopped macadamia nuts. This will be my new chocolate cookie recipe. Lots of great ways to change it up, mint chips, peanut butter chips, double chocolate chips... I did use high quality butter and cocoa pwd. also King Arthurs flour. I feel makes a big differnce. Next time I will double the recipe!

Black Forest Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
EXCELLENT!!! Made for my husbands birthday. I did make a syrup of kirsch and the juice from the cherries (boil down) to brush on the layers. I will use chocolate shavings on the side next time instead of crumbs and also "sprinkle" the finished cake with them for a professional look. Very good cake!

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
Yummy, I doubled and used 1lb beef, 1/2lb each pork and sweet italian sausage. Did not mince the onions very well will try to cut them smaller next time. Also will try the ricotta instead of milk that another reviewer suggested. Froze half for later and they made a GREAT last minute dinner with pasta and sauce. Thank you!

Slow Cooker Cilantro Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
YUMMY!!! I have made this twice in one week it is so good. Made it the first time and only had enough chx to make half a recipe. We ate it over rice and topped it with cheese and sour cream. The second time I made a full pot and made enchiladas with the mix. My husband wanted the leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. A wonderful recipe to eat some now and freeze some for later. I did not have taco seasoning so I used garlic pwd, onion pwd, paprika, chile pwd and cummin (just sprinkled a bit on top of the chicken before adding the salsa) Thank you for a great addition to my recipe box!

Good, not great. I would have given it 3 stars but my husband said 5. Very tasty but dry. I will double the gravy to use over mashed potatoes, and will try a fattier meat next time. (I used sirloin). Thank you

Richard's Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
Am I the only person who noticed the butter was not used? It should be added with the wine. I will cook the mushrooms and onions before the wine (and butter) is added, other than that is was a really good recipe. Thank you, I will be making this again.

Three words... Worth the time. Seriously the WORLD'S BEST LASAGNA. I am done searching, will only try another if it is seafood. Can be changed to suit, add spinach, mushrooms, change the meat to turkey ot leave it out. The sauce is great for other pasta meals. My husband who is a lasagna lover said is the best ever. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!!!

Toasted Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
Yum, I did change it up a bit. I followed another reviewer and cut the bread in half lengthwise. spread with the butter mix and wrapped in foil, baked 20 minutes at 350 then topped with cheese and baked for about 5 minutes until the cheese melted. I also used whipped butter and italian seasoning. Would be a 5 star if I had not changed the recipe so much! Thank you

Pork Medallions

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2011
Made mostly per recipe. Salted and peppered the pork, than dreddged in flour. Doubled the mushrooms and garlic. Used almost a whole can of chx broth. Added a healthy dash of sherry to sauce before serving. Very yummy. My husband loved it and my 15 year old daughter ate the left overs the next day. Might use shallots instead of onion next time. Thanks!

Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
Made this last night. Was a huge hit with my husband and 15 year old who has never eaten quiche. I used to make quiche all the time and lost my favorite recipe. I now have a new one! I forgot how yummy quiche is as it is really a favorite from the '80's. I used cheddar in place of swiss and added broccoli and onions, skipped the pimentos. Will be making again. Thank you for the great recipe!
