Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2002
I don't think there was anything real special about this - the taste did not blow me away. Luckily it wasn't too hard to make and the apples took most of the time!

Marchetti

Reviewed: May 15, 2002
I just didn't find anything special about this recipe. My husband liked it, but he likes everything! It wasn't "bad", but it wasn't great. It tasted like I had just thrown together whatever I could find in the pantry.

Taco Pie

Reviewed: May 19, 2002
By the second bite my husband was proclaming his love for this dish. I did mix in a can of refried beans with the meat, and I think it helped in "holding" it together a little better. I will definitly make this again and again.

Upside Down Pizza

Reviewed: May 22, 2002
I have a shortcut for this recipe...open a jar of spaghetti sauce and start eating! This was so gross! It was like cooking spaghetti and meatsauce but then deciding you would just eat a plate of sauce! My husband, who likes EVERYTHING, never said a word about it (good or bad), which means he didn't want to hurt my feelings. I don't know of any way this could be dressed up or made better, unless you put noodles in with it!

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2002
This was WAY too sweet. I was only able to take a couple bites before I could not take it anymore. My husband did enjoy it, but I would not make again because I could not handle the sweetness.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2002
This was wonderful. I am not a chicken lover, but ate every bite because the sauce was so good. This would be a wonderful dish to serve for guests- great presentation and would appear as though it took a long time!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2002
We love stroganoff in our house, and this is the only way it will be made from now on. It was SOO tasty, and I loved the fact that I didn't have to slice and cook thin steak. The only problem I had was the cream cheese did not seem to disolve properly. Next time I might try the trusty sour cream instead.

Enchilada Casserole III

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2002
I was not impressed by this. I found it way more trouble than I'm willing to go through for a dish that did not have much taste.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2002
Dumplings were slimmy blobs that never did cook after after an hour. Did I miss something? Will not make it again, what a mess!

Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
My husband really enjoys this. Its "different" for me since I don't eat cottage cheese, but its good for when I don't have anything else to make, and it reheats pretty well.

Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
This was kind of tasty, but WAY WAY WAY more work then I am willing to do on a meal. Seems like it should be able to be simplified in some way.

Baked Linguine with Meat Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2002
My mom did not care for this at all, but I thought it was okay. I think it really needs more noodles though, because I felt like I was eating meat sauce with a side of noodles, instead of the other way around.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2002
I loved these cookies. I made them with and without nuts. Only problem I had was that 10 minutes did not seem to be long enough to cook; they were still half raw. After 3 batches my conclusion is that 13 minutes is perfect!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2002
This was okay, but I have to agree with someone else that the topping was very greasy, and really kind of turned my off.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: May 24, 2003
I seem to be in the minority here, but I found this to be not worth the effort. It was very dry and the cheese and ham could not even be tasted. The bread crumbs did not seem to serve any purpose either. Did I do something wrong?

RamJam Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2003
I really don't care for chicken, but this was good. Would be very good at a casual get together because you could eat it off the stick !

Cheesy Chicken-and-Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2003
Very plain and kind of tasteless. I even added a few extras and it did not help.

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: May 19, 2004
As a side dish this would be okay, but as a main dish it was just too much potatoes for me. My 3 year old picked out the ham and didn't touch anything else.
