Curried Carrot Soup

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
This was truly divine! The only thing I did was add garlic, and carmelized both it and the onions first. I did not thin it at all with water. The texture was more appealing to me when thick. Sooooo good! Now on my list of faves!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2008
This was delectable! I actually had it marinating for 2 days (ended up not cooking the next day as planned) and I was worried it might not help it out. BUT...this recipe was perfect..just the right amount of zip, and it took just a few minutes on the grill to cook. A keeper!!

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
OK...I made this to recipe specs the first time...not a good idea. First it was overdone and mushy, yet dry...lol. So, I added the pasta UNCOOKED the next time, but it still seemed overdone. So, 3 tries later, I cook it on high for about 2 hours and it is truly perfection!!! The ingredients are great..the method just needed fixing for me.

Brownie Biscotti

Very yummy!! I left off the egg wash and baked for 15 minutes first then 6 and 6 minutes. I stirred in honey roasted peanuts and white chocolate chips, then dipped the bottoms in semi-sweet chocolate. These are soooooo good!!

I personally don't know what the other reviewers are talking about (the ones who dissed this recipe). These are dee-lish!! I make them alll the time, and drizzle them with white chocolate. They are to die for!!! These are a staple in my house. In fact, I am having one right now with my tea! :-)

Double Chocolate Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2005
This is probably one of the best recipes for biscotti I have tried in a long time. I used chocolate chunks and toasted hazelnuts instead of the white chocolate. This is my new fave recipe! Very easy!

Reese's® Brownie Bottomed Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2005
This one sounded so yummy, it was whipped up for Thanksgiving dessert. I followed others by adding the peanut butter to 1/2 of the batter. I must say, I was a bit skeptical when putting the batter in the pan, because it was so freakin' thick, but it really turned out perfect. I used my own brownie recipe, added beautiful piped whipped cream with wedges of Reese PB cups to garnish. I also made homemade caramel sauce to drizzle over top. It got rave reviews from both friends and family who have sampled it. I will make this again, for sure!! Awesome!

OK...made the chocolate version 2 days ago.....GONE!!! Now, as we speak, I have a butterpecan version, with vanilla pudding in the oven. The cake is great...easy, so moist, and you can change it to suit your flavor mood. I took it down to lunch at my parents house yesterday.....they loveeeeeed it!!! Will be making this often. I am thinking pistachio with white chololate next.........

False Cabbage Rolls

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2003
This turned out quite well. I did change a few things. I took heed of others advice....I added 1 can of tomato sauce, omitted 1 can of soup. I added seasoning..it needed it, I think.(Basil, oregano, garlic). I also did NOT add the sour cream. I didn't think it needed it. I also added one small can of tomato paste. My kids, both of whom had never eaten cabbage before, said they loved it. So, that is a good sign!!! I will make this again. The pot was huge...I had enough for leftovers!!!! Wooooohooooooo!!
