Hamburger Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
Great recipe just as it is written..however, due to dairy allergies in our fam I substitute almond milk for the milk & coconut oil for the margarine. They always turn out great & now I don't have to buy buns from the store with ingredients that are gmo or that I can't pronounce :)

BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2012
Great easy recipe that doesn't need to be cooked. I substituted brown sugar for the white, omitted the water & added a few dashes of nutmeg & about 2 tsp. of molasses. Turned out just right...sticky, sweet & tangy.

Rice Balls a la Tim

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
Fabulous, easy recipe for rice balls. I have made these with hamburger & once I even added some milk italian sausage to the mix & they tasted so good! I make my own bread & make the breadcrumbs from that....They are so yummy, everyone in my family LOVES these, even my pickiest eaters....Thank you for a GREAT recipe.

Mom's Ginger Snaps

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2011
The BEST Ginger Snap recipe! Did everything as it was listed except I doubled the spice amounts & for the vegetable oil...I used coconut oil. These are very LOVED in my family!! Wonderful perfectly spiced cookies that crackle on top yet retain their chewiness (if they last). My family requests these not just for holidays but all throughout the year too. Very, very easy to make & when they are baking, your house will smell heavenly.

Ladyfingers

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
PERFECT! These turned out wonderful....I just added a tsp. of pure almond extract & did everything else the same. So good, I had to make a second batch as everyone in the family ate the first batch, and I need it for tiramasu! I didn't take the time to individually pipe them, I just spread the batter into a waxed paper covered jelly roll pan & baked it for 8 minutes...let it cool & then used a pizza cutter to slice them into lady finger size. Delicious & much healthier than the store bought version with ingredients you can't pronounce. Thank you for the great recipe!

Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2011
Great recipe, especially if you have a vitamix! Just dumped all the ingredients in without grating the chocolate & about 4 minutes later, steamy, frothy, yummy hot chocolate. Everything blended up perfectly. Will be using this again. Thank you.
