im not a cook by any means,but i try .i own my own backhoe company,and work for one of the big contractors here in british columbia,not leaving much time for my new interest.im like a weekend wanabe

i realy like chinese so many flavors.but im also proud of my taisty chicken heart dish,i could not find one on ar so i made one ,its great!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I guess that would be prime rib roast,done in the ronco rotisserie,everyone in the family expects that meal on any get together.
My cooking triumphs
Whenever everyone will eat what i make thats a victory to me.
My cooking tragedies
At an early age I tried making oatmeal,,just forgot to add the water..

Steak and Kidney Pie II
this was my first attept at a pot pie and i must say it was a surprise to see the end result.. one would think it was store bought, this was good,swaped bacon fat for the lard,oh and used store bought pie crusts they came 2 to abox 1 for the top 1 for the bottom,i did wind up with a lot filling,filled 2 deep dish pie shells with alot still left over,i will do this one again. 5 stars

Sausage Stuffed Jalapenos
tonight is my 3rd time with this recipe, made as is ....awsome...if you dont have the gloves just use a plastic bag to hold the pepper and use a small spoon to scape out the guts..they will burn bare skin

Chicken Marinade
HOLY LICK salty,if i try again i will try a low sodium soya and maybe a touch of sesame oil, the sherry and garlic were undetecable,there is NO need for salt on the table with this one.even my kid who eats like a seagull said, too salty.
