Slow Cooker Creamed Corn

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
I tripled this recipe for our Easter dinner side dish. Everyone loved it. Super easy. The only changes I made were to melt the butter, cream cheese, and milk together in a sauce pan. Once melted I added the sugar, salt, & pepper. Then I poured the sauce over the frozen corn in the crock pot, stirred and left it. When time to serve I think I added about another 1/2 cup of milk because it seemed just a tad thick.

Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
My lower rating could be due to my error. I had a lot more marinade than I think was necessary and put it all on my fish fillets thinking more is better. It wasn't. It was too much sweet and I think caused the fish to be soggy. I couldn't get a crust on it. If I make again I will definitely only lightly brush the marinade on. And I will use less honey if any, due to the sweetness.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2011
I made this recipe 2 nights ago. I browsed through a few of the reviews and decided to combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl for 15 minutes prior to mixing. I also added basil, oregano, and garlic herb seasoning to the flour mixture. I brushed the crust with olive oil and baked in the over for 15 min at 400 degrees prior to adding my toppings. The pizza tasted great and smelled even more divine! It's definitely more of a flat bread crust but that's OK. It was quick and simple. Gotta love it!

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
Tried this tonight and everyone loved it. I didn't have Dijon mustard so I used Spicy Mustard and added about a tablespoon of honey to it. Like someone else suggested, I melted the butter and then added the bread crumbs to it. Then I spread the mixture on top of the salmon. Some notes: I should have used mored bread crumbs - the mix was too moist and I didn't get that nice crispiness I wanted. I needed to bake it longer than 15 min but that may be because I have an elec oven.
