Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
This kicked a$$!!! to get rid of some of the moisture, mix apple mixture first and drain before putting into shell. This was the best topping ever! I had to patch up parts of the pie where I ate the top off while cooling.

Rocky Road Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
Wow!! this is great, I wasn't sure how sweet it would be but it was great!! I did follow advice from another reviewer and threw a few marshmallows in the choc. mix, and I used almonds. My fiancee is extremely picky, he will only eat rocky road from baskin robins but he just loved this!! Very easy and extremely delicious!!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Quick Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2005
I just took this out of the oven and it's very good, Some of the other users noted that it was a little bland so I added cinnamon to the batter and before I put the (doubled) topping on, I chopped up a bunch of fresh black cherries. I am sure you could use anything, berries, peaches, etc, but it is awesome. Thanks!!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2005
WOW!, I WAS MAKING TERIYAKI STRIP STEAKS & REALIZED I DIDN'T HAVE ANY JARS OF SAUCE. I JUST MADE YOUR SUPER EASY SAUCE WHICH ACTUALLY WAS QUIKER, EASIER, AND TASTIER THAN ME RUNNING DOWN TO THE STORE FOR A JAR!!! I WASN'T GONNA COMMENT SINCE I DIDN'T MAKE THE CHICKEN, BUT THE SAUCE ALONE WAS AWESOME! I WILL USE OVER & OVER. THE ONLY THING I DID DIFFERENT WAS ADD SOME HONEY, GREEN ONIONS, & SESAMEE SEEDS. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!

Paul's Pumpkin Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
EXCELLENT BARS!!! I ADDED A LITTLE FRESH NUTMEG & GINGER, AND HAD TO USE A COUPLE ROUND PANS, INSTEAD OF THE JELLY ROLL PAN. THEY LOOKED AND TASTED GREAT! AFTER I FROSTED THEM, I MADE SOME LITTLE ORANGE PUMPKINS W/ GREEN STEMS ON EACH SERVING & CUT THEM INTO TRIANGLES. THIS ONE'S A KEEPER. :)

Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
VERY GOOD RECIPE. I TOOK THIS TO WORK & AFTER TRYING IT, 2 PEOPLE WENT OUT & GOT THEIR OWN BREAD MACHINES!! YOU SHOULD GET SOME OF THE PROFITS :) ANYWAYS, THE ONLY THING I DID DIFFERENT WAS ADD A LITTLE SUGAR TO THE DOUGH (I TEND TO USE TOO MUCH FLOUR WHEN I ROLL STUFF OUT & I DIDN'T WANT TO LOSE SWEETNES) AND I ALSO ADDED SOME CINNAMON TO THE DIP. VERY EASY RECIPE, WELL WORTH THE TIME.

Balsamic Chicken and Fresh Mozzarella

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2005
AWESOME!! WHEN I READ THIS RECIPE, I JUST THOUGHT IT LOOKED KINDA BLAH, I TRIED IT ANYWAYS CUZ IT SEEMED SO EASY & I HAVE A NEW FAVORITE! I MARINATED FOR 24 HOURS, & INSTEAD OF JUST SETTING THE LEAF & TOMATO SLICE ON THE CHICKEN, I CHOPPED THE BASIL A BIT & MIXED W/ THE SLICED TOMATOES IN THE PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT. JUST LONG ENOUGH TO GIVE THE BASIL GOOD FLAVOR, BUT NOT LONG ENOUGH TO LOSE THE SHAPE OF THE TOMATO. WILL PROBABLY MAKE THIS ONCE A MONTH!

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2005
Wow! These are amazing!! be sure to use a good quality of chocolate chip & they will taste professional. I am a total failure when it comes to making candy, but these look and taste awesome! I cook & bake but ask me to do microwave fudge & I will run & hide! This was the easiest candy, it takes a little patience but it is well worth the time. These Rock!!!

I LOVE THIS RECIPE, I HAVE MADE IT SEVERAL TIMES AND FOUND THAT THE COATING IS PERFECT IF YOU DO NOT!! USE A NON-STICK/TEFFLON PAN!!! JUST DON'T SKIMP ON THE BUTTER CUZ YOU'LL NEVER GET IT OUT OF THE PAN!!

Filipino Lumpia

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2006
These are very good! I have used this recipe 3 times & they are simple & delicious! The only changes I made were 1) I doubled the vegetables 2) Instead of veg. oil, I prepped the filling in sesame oil, and 3) I added about 1/2 tsp freshly ground ginger. There is a simple tomato paste-pineapple based sweet & sour sauce on this website that goes excellent w/ these.

Red Enchilada Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2006
Very good, lots of compliments! I do wish it would have had a little heat to it. I am scared to expirement w/ hot stuff so I just added a diced serrano to my chicken mixture and left the sauce alone. Will definitely do this quick easy sauce again, & I am open to suggestions on what to use to make it a little spicier. (but not too spicy)

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
Wonderful soup! Thanks for sharing, I didn't have celery on hand, but I didn't miss it. I went to souplantation recently and they had a similar soup so I searched and found this recipe, which I actually prefer! Will make this recipe regularly! Also, French's fried onions are a delicious topper.

Grilled Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Very good, I cut the chicken into 2" chunks, and marinated for 1 day, then baked it in the marinade, when it was done I put the chicken over brown rice and reduced the marinade/juices and poured over the top. Very flavorful but by no means overpowering, serve w/ steamed pea pods, and honey ginger carrots (on this website). Thanks!

Amish White Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2009
Excellent recipe!! Thanks for sharing! I actually used a bread machine to make the dough and it worked beautifully. I just followed basic bread machine order (liquid, flavoring agents, and fat on bottom, flour on top w/ yeast in the center of the flour "volcano") and it came out great, before baking i brushed with a little melted honey butter (I know everyone says its a bit sweet, but I am making it for breakfast). This is definitely a keeper because you don't need to run to the store for a bunch of ingredients!

Although I can't agree about the "goes great with spaghetti" part of this recipe, I will say these are awesome and delicious! Very easy to make, I would reccomend them with a light soup so you don't feel so guilty when you eat 2 or 3! Thanks for sharing!
