Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2002
This kicked a$$!!! to get rid of some of the moisture, mix apple mixture first and drain before putting into shell. This was the best topping ever! I had to patch up parts of the pie where I ate the top off while cooling.

Apple Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2002
This is the best cake ever! I substituted some apple sauce for the oil and it still turned out great. The only problem is now my boyfriend wants me to make this every other day!

Mall Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2002
Very good! A bit time consuming, but just throw it in the breadmaker and go shopping or clean the house. They are a bit hard to roll out, but once you get the hang of it it is easy. I will double the recipe next time cause my boyfriend ate them all before I could put them away :(

Grandma's Hash Browns

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2002
Very good, Simple and easy to make. This is a good traditional recipe. I don't know why people would complain about hash browns not being flavorful enough? That is what salt and ketchup was invented for! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!!

Applesauce Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2002
These turned out really good!! Low fat too ;) Thanks for the recipe, I usually have chunky applesauce but I only had the cinnamon kind so I diced an apple and threw it in, they cam out a bit moister obviously, but still delicious. A bit sweet, perhaps next time I will thin the icing and drizzle instead. Thanks a lot for sharing!!!

Pumpkin Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2002
I really like the taste of this cause it isn't super sweet, but it turned out really little. I figured the pumpkin would mix with the soda so it would rise, but I guess next time I will just add a little baking powder. Anyways, it tastes great with a little cream cheese glaze.

Rich Cocoa Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
Why oh why does fudge hate me so! I found this to be extremely hard and grainy. I do not reccomend it, stick to old fashioned style fudge. This wasted a lot of ingredients. The taste however was ok, but I was too embarassed to get anyone else's but my little sister's opinion.

Cinnamon Bread I

This turned out great! I haven't restocked my kitchen since Christmas, so I had to sub brown sugar and it still turned out very nice. My parents and I ate half of it before it even cooled. Will definitely make again!

French Breakfast Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2003
These are pretty good, the only problem is, the top tastes so good you eat it first and then are left w/ the plain ol' muffin. :( But thanks for sharing this quick easy recipe!

Sopapillas

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2003
I made these the other day and they turned out great. I hate to see how a person such as "kmmishler" down there can mess up the rating for this. I also suppose her entire family has gone into cardiac arrest after eating all of the fat that she is supposed to be FRYING FOOD IN and NOT mixing it in the dough. (along w/ the 7 and counting that considered her helpful)

Grandma's Homemade Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2003
This tasted very good! It started to get a little too close to the edge of the pan so I took an ice-cream scoop of batter out and made a muffin. I also added a cinnamon-nut-brown sugar streusal-type of topping when it was half way done which gave it a little extra sweetness. I will definitely keep this recipe. Thanks!
