Kamikaze Cocktail

I made these as cocktails before a dinner party last week. We sat on the patio & sipped & all 6 of us raved about the taste......a keeper for sure! Having the glasses chilled really helps keep it cool for those hot summer days! Thanks for a great recipe!

Kung Pao Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2013
I have made this recipe several times. It is authentic & awesome! My vegetarian daughter substitutes Soy chicken with the same excellent results. I have served it over rice noodles & brown rice-both are great. Will be combining this dish with some spring rolls & salad for dinner party soon. Also, Naan bread goes well with it for bread lovers. I used CHICKEN THIGHS instead of breasts as more flavor! Thank-you Arlena!

Suzy's Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2011
These were very good but I did, as others suggested, add crushed garlic. In opposition to the last reviewer it is often by "tweaking" recipes that we help them go from good to great. I appreciate ALL feedback on recipes I post or meals I serve & as it only serves to improve it. It is through constructive criticism that we DO improve! Kudos to the critics!

Slow Cooker Chicken Marrakesh

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
I made this today & it was delicious. I only had black beans & they worked well. I used 1/2 boneless skinless chicken & 1/2 skinless chicken drums but next time I will use all drums or thighs as the dark meat is so much more flavorful. I also added a cup of chicken broth. A definite keeper...thanks for the recipe !

Hi there; I am the cook who submitted this recipe & in answer to one reviewer's question, you should be able to buy CANNED CORNED BEEF (thank-you to another reviewer for pointing that out) on the shelves of any supermarket where you find the canned meats.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
This is EXCELLENT! I have been making it on a regular basis for over a year & most often use chicken thighs (& remove the skin 1st!) Sometimes I add a pinch of cumin (as we love that spice) & the aroma of it cooking is enough to prime anyones apetite. Bon Apetit!

Rosemary-Scented Pork Loin Stuffed With Roasted Garlic, Dried Apricots and Cranberries and Port Wine Pan Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
Exquisite! Served this @ a dinner party to rave reviews. The only change I made was to use 1 (250 ml) bottle of apple jelly which made enough sauce for basting & serving. A keeper!
