French Butter Cakes (Madeleines)

I bought my self a madeleine pan and found this recipe. Yum! Not that much work for such a tasty pay off. The chocolate version rarely lasts long enough around my kitchen to ice, but they are great with cream cheese icing.

Brennan's Irish Soda Bread

Very easy and delicious. Like all the reviews I read, 30 minutes worked better than 45. I used a cup of buttermilk instead of the milk/vinegar concoction.

Orzo Pasta Salad

Gramma Bertha's Banana Cake

I found this recipe to use up bananas. It is a rich cake. I like it with a cup of coffee. Next time I make it I make it i will add a few chocolate chips or nuts.

Buttery Cupcakes with Coconut Topping

I must say I was looking for a good buttery cupcake more than a sugary topping. I just made the cake. Maybe with sugary topping, but it does not stand on it's own.
