My husband grew up eating these at the holidays and he gave them a big thumbs up, along with my seven year old. A couple of tweaks from me follow. I was concerned about them being bland as some suggested so I browned about a quarter pound of groud beef and then waited the onion and garlic in the same pan. I also used sushi rice because Ii think it is more sticky. I also used three pinches of saffron like another reviewer suggested. My husband prefers these without cheese in the middle so I skipped that part. Use Italian bread crumbs for more flavor too. Wonderful.

Perfect consistency. Shiney. Holds it's color. Tastes great. This is the last recipe I will ever need for icing for cut out cookies.

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2011
I refrigerated the dough overnight like other suggested. It was very easy to work with. The flavor and texture of the cookies is very good but they do need icing. I baked the first batch for 12 minutes and they were too crispy so the next bath I baked only 6 minutes and they were perfect. My tip is if you are using dark non stick pans to either lower the temp by 25 degrees or bake for a shorter time. You can get crisp cookies if you roll the dough out thinner and more substantial cookies if you roll our a little thicker, I would make these over and over.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly and baked it for one hour like others suggested. It was perfect. If I was serving with something else and wanted a side with a little spice I would add a couple of minced jalepenos.

Champagne Punch III

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
Made this fir new years eve. Ended up making three batches for ten adults. If you are having a long party, be sure and have enough for at least a double batch. Made an ice ring with Sprite. Everyone loved this, even the guys.
