Pumpkin Cookies V

Pretty good cookie. It's nice to have something a little different sometimes. The icing has more of a maple flavor than caramel. If I make again I will be definitely be adding some nutmeg, allspice, or something else to the cookie to give it some zing as it was a bit bland without the icing.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Roast was moist and flavor was ok. Disappointed in the vegetable mush that was left over after I took the roast out. I probably won't be making again. :(

It was like eating a bar of cream cheese. Very thick and heavy. Might have been better with more seasoning but I won't making again.

Cake Balls

Flavor was good but not worth the effort. I could not get a nice formed and coated ball. Tried using a fork, tongs, and toothpicks. They all came out pretty ugly and I was too embarrassed to share them.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Very thick and heavy. Sits in your stomach like a rock. I used a 9x13 pan. Maybe if I used a bigger pan so it was thinner it would have been better. I'll never know because I won't make again. Nobody would eat them. :(

Super-Easy Rocky Road Fudge

Super easy and it had a nice smooth texture to the fudge. I prefer this method over the standard marshmallow creme fudge.

Sun Dried Tomato Chicken

This was terrible. I followed the directions exactly as written. 1st it was thick and pasty, I tried to fix that by adding more milk but that didn't fix the flavor. I tried to fix it by adding anything I could think of but all I did was waste the money I spent on the ingredients. I couldn't get my husband or my kids to eat any of it. They ended up having a bowl of cereal for dinner instead. :(

Banana Crumb Muffins

These are really good muffins and they are easy to make. The crumb topping does nothing for the flavor though. I like the texture it adds but the dry strong flour taste almost takes away from the muffin. I will make this recipe again but I will eith omit the topping or make my own using butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and a small amount of flour to make it 'crumb'.

Tater Crisp Chicken

I loved it. I used garlic flavored potato flakes and added some italian seasoning (parsley, basil, oregano, etc) to the mixture. If you like your chicken extra crispy you can cook it on a regular pan (cookie sheet w/ edges). I will definately make this again.

Monkey Bread I

It had a good taste but the glaze was too much. It hardened w/in minutes and could nearly pull your fillings out. I gave it 3 stars because its a good idea and it had good flavor but I will not be making again.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

YUM! and it didn't take too long to make. I had to double the sauce to coat all the meatballs it made and served over rice. The only change I made was omitting the seasoning salt (didn't need it) and I squeezed a lemon into it to tame a little of the sweet. I would be happy to make this for any potluck. The meatball recipe is also pretty good by itself. Definately a keeper. Thanks!

Banana Crepes

Good recipe. My bananas were a little mushy, I think I let them cook a little too long. Next time I'm going to try it with berries simmered in a heavy cream. Thanks for the recipe!

Hamburger Pie

Good. I took the other suggestions and made it with 1/2 cream of mushroom and 1/2 tomato soup. I also used corn instead of green beans so my son would eat it. My husband said he would prefer it without cheese....but what does he know?! :)

Best Brownies

Great brownie. Really moist. I did double the recipe and bake in a 9x13 pan. It took about 8 minutes longer to cook. I didn't make the frosting, I thought it would make them too sweet.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Really good. This is a perfect recipe for someone who likes chocolate but doesn't want the richness that usually comes in a brownie. I thought they were a little cake like (not too much though) and needed a little more cocoa powder (I personally like the richness). I would definately make again. Thanks!
