Swiss Chard and Mozzarella Quiche in Zucchini Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I made this dish wish smaller zucchinis, so I put the chard in the squash and put the quiche mainly around the zucchinis in the baking dish. I also left out the mozzerella and replace tarragon with thyme, based on what I had on hand. It was delicious, easy, quick, and very creative!

Roasted Grapes and Carrots

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
This is a great idea, roasted carrots and grapes with cumin, but like everyone else says, the instructions aren't great. I sliced regular carrots and boiled them for about 8 minutes before roasting them with everything else for 10 minutes. It turned out great!

Paradise Pumpkin Pie I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This is absolutely delicious!! I made it for a party I went to and got rave reviews, and several people asked for the recipe! As for the layers combining, I had no problem with that, even though I forgot to refrigerate mine while making the second layer.

Egg in a Boat

This is a great, classic breakfast recipe. I've had it many times and it never fails. I call it bird in a nest.

Lemon Basil Carrots

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
This was absolutely delicious!! I made it for dinner tonight and got rave reviews from everyone. The lemon flavor really brought out the carrot flavor. FYI, I cooked the carrots for 10 minutes and they were sliced 1/4 in. thick. Thanks!

Glazed Dijon Carrots

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
These are great!! I eyeballed everything, used a mix of baby carrots and regular carrot chunks, and added considerably more than 1/2 tsp ginger, and they turned out terrific!! Also very quick and easy.

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
I made this for dinner tonight, and it was delicious! It had a great combination of flavor, and wasn't hard. It would have been nice, though, if a time had been included for how long to broil the peppers in order to blacked them.

Vegetarian Chickpea Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
This sounded really good, but it is a little more bland than I thought it would be. I didn't follow the recipe very closely though, so it is partially my fault.

Moroccan Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
I made this last night and it was delicious. I did change some things, like adding kidney beans instead of garbonzos, curry powder instead of garam masala, and adding part water and part chicken broth. It was very easy, and everyone absolutely loved it!! thanks for the recipe, I will make it again!!

Red Velvet Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2011
These are amazing! I made these today and they are soft, moist, and absolutely delicious. Mine did not turn out too floury or course, as other reviewers complained about. The sour cream was a nice touch, it made them richer. Mine baked for a little longer than 9 minutes, but other than that I followed the recipe exactly.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2011
Well....chewy in the middle is very right. As soon as I put the cookies on the cooling rack, the middles collapsed and the cookies fell apart. They do taste delicious though!

Raspberry Chocolate Supremes

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2011
I would give this a 3 1/2 if I could. You really do need to make these overnight, or they will not set. I learned that the hard way. I put the chocolate layer on after about two hours in the fridge, and chilled them for about another hour. The layers didn't stick to eachother, and they were *awful* to cut. So, they turned out really messy, but everyone loved them and said they tasted great.
