Quick and Easy Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2014
Very taisty, couldn't find my Grandmothers so used your recipe and these ones stuck to my muffin tin. It is a new tin. Could be because a standard egg in recipies use medium sized eggs {I used what I had, small cripes!} Hmmmm... try it again with beef drippings. This recipe was much faster than what I'm used too and I did say taisty but didn't say they were very fluffy. Very fluffy indeed ty.

Oven-Roasted Boneless Leg of Lamb

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2014
My Aunt suggested this recipe for me to serve. I, and as well as my Father found your marinade to be far to overpowering. Sorry but a tender leg of lamb has a delicate flavour that shouldn't be compromised by to many other flavors and should never be placed in a crock pot. I will however, try your marinade the next time I try a stewed lamb for rice. The flavour of the spice should prove to be pleasant.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: May 25, 2013
Didn't have buttermilk so I used the buttermilk powder and regular full fat milk. I always keep the powder on hand for pancakes as I can't get through the carton before it spoils. Well, DARN GREAT I SAY! Thank you very much Bethany's Grandmother! 5 big stars! Teresa

Blueberry Crumb Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2013
I have been searching for just this recipe for years until it came to me again just 2 weeks ago and lo and behold, you can always rely on Allrecipes! I didn't need to change a thing although I will bake my pie crust for 10 minutes before, covering the rim with tinfoil the next time I make it as I found the crust was soggy from the blueberry juice (I used frozen berries). Magnifique!

Lemon Coconut Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2012
I usually never follow a recipe to the "T" however I did for this recipe and honestly I didn't like it. Keep in mind that I do have different tastes I would suggest adding a little bit more sugar to the base crust which was fantastic I might add however, the lemon filling really needed more lemon. I'd suggest adding a tsp of lemon extract with the lemon juice.

Rotisserie Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Craving BB-Q chicken over the last weekend we tried this recipe. I prepared the whole chicken and my wonderful boyfriend braved the cold to spark up the barbecue and cook it. He put a tin pan on the rack, above the coals and under the chicken and basted the chicken in it's own juices. I wouldn't change a thing! Really exceptional ! Thank you.

Lemon Cranberry Muffins

Excellent flavor! I used naturally sweet dried cranberries and it may have made this recipe a little dry for me however, I will make them again adding a couple tablespoons more of the vegetable oil. Thank you.

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
Love homemade pasta and cheese with no processed cheese product! I tried this recipe as written and it was fantastic! On my second baking, I made it mine by adding a 1/2 cup of mild cheddar and used 4 oz of leftover spiral cut honey ham, fresh Parmesan and of course, a handful of breadcrumbs on the top. Magnifico! Five stars. Thanks for the recipe!

Puerto Rican Meat Patties

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
I found that the egg roll wrappers were not too great for this recipe. There was also an overpowering cilantro taste and the tomato paste should be mixed with a teaspoon of sugar for my palet. A little Orégano brujo (oregano), less cilantro, a patti dough recipe and sugar would please my palet more. I'd hate to rate this as we all have different tastes however Allrecipies is prompting to do so. I'll rate it on the other ratings as I'd hate to bring your rate down just because I'm different.

Thai Chicken Balls

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
The flavour was good although the amount of bread crumbs made it too dry for me. They were also lacking in proper seasoning (salt). If you try this recipe, cut back on the bread crumbs and fry one Chicken Ball and test for seasoning. If you want more breadcrumbs then add the rest according to your preferences. It also lacked in a binding ingredient. Use an egg yolk. Avoid the white of the egg as it will become stringy since we are using Chicken as our ingredient. Frying was a good method however, I also tried baking them in a 350F oven for 15 minutes, shaping my Chicken Balls walnut sized and they were equally as good but less fat.

Too salty. If you make this, try cutting back on the sodium content.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
These went off like a hit at my Church gathering this weekend. I thought I had raisins but instead found that I had a mixture of dark and golden raisins with chopped apricots and cranberries. The recipe turned out wonderfully! Thank you and I will definitely use this recipe again as I have transfered it to my cookbook of favorite recipies.
