Quick Crescent Taco Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
I make something like this all the time for my large family and it is a HUGE hit! The one thing I have always done differently is mix the cooked meat in a large bowl with a full jar of mild salsa before I put it on top of the crust. This gives it enough flavor that you can skip the taco seasoning step if you wish! If you use a brand of salsa that is really watery, you might want to let the mixture sit in a colander a few minutes before putting it on the crust. Can't go wrong with this recipe! Great with ground turkey too!

Mom's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
We have a large family and host many get-togethers. I've tried other mac-n-cheese recipes, but it never gets eaten. tried this one for New Year's day and it was GONE! I did not have the problem of it being too dry. I did follow some of the reviewers' advice and added a little more milk and cheese. I also added a little garlic powder and used crushed Ritz crackers for the topping. I've made this several times now and, although I don't like to use Velveeta, it's way better than anything from a box. I also thought any leftovers microwaved really well the next day! A keeper for me!

Party Punch VI

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
I've tried this punch several times now and it's always a big hit and very easy to make! I used Old-Fashioned Ginger Ale, Hawaiian Punch, and rainbow sherbet. The kids love it. Some adults used a little Malibu Rum to spike it!

Pineapple Stuffing

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
I have made this recipe for several holidays now and now that the holidays are over, I find myself wanting to make ham for dinner just to have an excuse to make this dish! It was such a big hit! Something so different, that everyone was talking about it and asking for the recipe! I wish it was more healthy so we could have it more often! I did use half brown sugar and half white sugar. I also used half pineapple tidbits (which leaves it a little less mushy) and half crushed pineapple. I thought it was perfect! Definitely a keeper at this hosue!
