Asian Rainbow Trout

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
I make this recipe with or without the sugar. It's delicious, the best way I have found of preparing trout. Also works with salmon and chicken. The only other change I make besides omitting the sugar sometimes is using bacon grease instead of oil. This is just really good.

Turkey and Quinoa Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
I will put a little less pepper in the sauce rub next time, the top was too peppery for my taste. Although other than that this recipe is exceptionally delicious! I will make definitely make it again.

Dough Ornament Recipe

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
I gave this recipe 3 stars because after about 15 minutes the dough became unworkable and we had to throw half of it away. If you're going to make these roll em out and cut them quickly!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
DELICIOUS SAUCE!!! In making this recipe I made the sauce as directed and put my own choice of vegetables and stuff into the pasta. I made mine with green and red peppers, along with a couple hard boiled eggs, little cheese cubes, tomato, and chunks of ham. MMM writing this review is making me hungry for left overs!!! Good night and bon appetite!

Potato and Shiitake Mushroom Gratin

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2011
Really good! Really, really, really good!!! I didn't follow the recipe exactly. I used less potatoes and didn't measure out anything except one cup of broth. Also, I didn't have any cream so I substituted it for a can of cream of mushroom soup. I basically just threw everything together here and it was fantastic!!! Everyone loved it. I tossed a bit of bread crumbs on top near the end to make it crispy. YUM!!!

I'm not a huge fan of peanut butter but these were amazing! Not overwhelming peanutty taste... Really good recipe.

I cut this recipe in half best I could, I made one loaf and some little muffins and they are aboutely fantastic!!! My family loves them :) My 3yr old mashed up the bananas so they were a little lumpy which just added to the deliciousness of them! YUM!!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
Delicious! I've made this many times now and I'd advise people to add some coarsely chopped mushrooms to the mix. It takes the dish from 4 stars to a shining 5. I wouldn't make it at all without the extra mushrooms, but that's just me. Also, using cream of mushroom soup is good too. A little different taste but still a great meal. Add the whorechester sauce to taste.

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
So I made this, following the recipe as best I could while adding a few extras (one extra egg, tomato, a bit of yellow pepper, a bit of shredded carrot, chunks of left over ham) And it turned out pretty darn good! I ended up with far too much for my little pie pan so I made 2, one with crust and one without. They were both delicious! :) Yum! I especially like that it's basically a whole wholesome meal all in one. I served it with french fries and ketchup.

Butter Tart Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
They came out tasting fantastic, dispite the fact that I screwed them up a little bit. Distracted by my mother who came over to chat, I accidently added the baking soda into the rasin mix on the stove. Oops! Then, when mixing the batter, it became a very strange texture I could only describe as gluey, with little white chunks in it. I'm not sure if that's how it's suppose to be or not, but as I said, they taste pretty darn good. My grand-mother loves them (she is a buttertart fanatic!) so I will definitely make these again.
