Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

1. Siiiiimple & easy and little to clean up 2. My house smelled ammmmmmmmazing 3. My husband said, "this is the best baked chicken you have ever made. It tastes like something you get at a restaurant!" I used the bake method at 375 for 40 min. Put some juices on it about halfway through. Broiled each side for 5 min. after I baked it. I served with jasmine rice cooked in chicken broth. Buttery and rich :) but wooooooondetful flavor!! Thank you for the hit!!!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Average banana bread to me. The baking instructions cannot be correct. I followed the recipe perfectly and cooked at 300 for an hour and had soup in the middle.So I covered with tin foil since the top was already brown and baked another 15 min. At least it was cooked but it tasted like regular ol' banana bread to me. I only cooked one at a time so maybe by adjusting the temp...the others will turn out better. This just goes to show how frustrating it is when a recipe has 5 stars because people rate it based on their own tweaks and adjustments. This is not a 5 star recipe.

Mexican Rice II

Followed recipe exactly as stated. Had to use Boil in a Bag rice (just dumped it out of the bag) and loved it!! Thanks for the easy simple recipe!!

Juicy Roasted Chicken

Don't bother dirtying the silverware...this falls off the bone!! My family said "Mom made the best chicken ever!" It drives me crazy when people tweak then rate the recipe but I must confess I stuck a couple whole cloves are garlic in the bird and shook a little garlic powder on it and a sprinkle of Herbs de Provence, too. No doubt this is fabulous either way. I cannot wait to use the leftovers. Bones are even in the fridge to make stock. I thank you. My family loves you :)
