Chef John's Caramel Chicken
I followed it exactly, including having the 1/3 cup of water. I had no problems with it reducing as other reviewers had. It is a super easy recipe and definitely, definitely, definitely cook this on HIGH. Don't reduce the temperature at all until you get the consistency of the sauce that you want. Watch the video, it is extremely helpful as well.

Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup
Very hearty and filling soup. I couldn't find the brand of chicken sausage I was looking (I had a coupon) so I subbed smoked sausage (lite) instead. Also was out of white wine so I just subbed chicken broth for it instead. I used a tri-color tortellini (the soup looked just too white and gray) that was filled with a mixtures of about three-four different cheeses. Also instead of fresh tomatoes I used canned petite diced tomatoes. I didn't add anything else and my family loved it! I served it with slices of french bread and parmesan cheese. Recipes for me are "suggestions". Feel free to mix it up, make substitutions, additions, etc. for your personal tastes/preferences. I'm definitely gonna add this to our dinner rotation.

Angel Biscuit Rolls
Loved this recipe. I do think there are some things you should know about biscuit making if this this your first time making biscuits. 1. Definitely cut the shortening into the dry ingredients before adding the buttermilk and yeast. 2. I took the advice of other reviewers and warmed the buttermilk before adding. 3. If you get the "goopy" dough that other reviewers mentioned, try putting in in the fridge covered for a little bit. Now when I made this, I didn't think the dough was goopy--a bit sticky, yes. I wanted to make these later in the day so I did put in the fridge. When I was ready to make, I just put a generous amount of flour on my bread board and worked gave it a gentle knead (be careful to over work the dough). I loved the feel of the dough and it was quite light. Biscuits turned out great but I probably will make with all butter (I made it with half butter and half shortening) and will definitely add more salt to boost up the flavor.
