Cream of Broccoli Soup IV
Snow and soup go hand in hand, but this soup is pretty good by itself. Granted, I gave the soup a flavour flourish by sauteeing the garlic with some mushrooms and onions - all of which was added to the food pro for pureeing. That's a small change with big results. I got an even bigger result when I added some thyme. Garnished with parmesan, it chased away the chills!

Best Brownies
Very good brownies! To make them dense, I partially dissolved the sugar in the melted butter before I added the eggs and extract. I also ensured I used no more than the 1/4 teaspoon baking powder, since it is a leavening agent...I wonder what would happen if the powder was omitted? Anyway, I'm gonna make these again!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I
You gotta love it when a plan comes together! This was my first attempt at this recipe and other than a minor crack (which was mostly hidden by the chips) it came out perfect. Served on New Years Day 2011, it was well recieved. No wonder. The condensed milk makes this cheesecake special. It has my seal of approval, give it a try.
