Chocolate Peanut Butter Wacky Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2006
The flavor was pretty good and very different. I added a little more peanut butter since I'm a peanut butter freak. The cake was so incredibly dry that I almost choked trying to swallow! I will try this one again but a little differently, so as to not have the cake so dry.

Double Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: May 18, 2006
Who! If you are a peanut-butter/chocolate FREAK like I am ,the recipe you have been searching for has been found! The very first time I made this, I jumped the gun and got cook & serve pudding and of course I destroyed it. The second time I did it the right way and oh boy...this is an insanely good pie! I have to watch my sugar intake so I used sugar-free Cool-Whip and sugar-free pudding and skipped the crust. I used the entire 8 oz. cream cheese and my only fripe is that you can only eat so much at a time because it is very, very rich! You are in for a treat making this one! Thank you so much for your wonderful recipe!

Monterey Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
Wow, this one was delicious! This is what I did: I put the potatoes with chopped onions in a ziploc bag. To the butter I added salt, garlic and Monterey seasoning (McCormick). I poured this into the ziploc to coat evenly. I then roasted them in the oven for 15 minutes. With the chicken, I coated them in flour and sage and fried them in a skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side. I took the potatoes out of the oven and added mushrooms, put the chicken in, covered with the butter and lime and baked for about 25 minutes. This was delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

Green Olive Chicken II

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
This recipe was incredible! I added fresh chopped garlic and instead of water, I used chicken broth and white wine. I don't eat rice, but partner does, so she made rice on the side and I just ate the mixture and the flavor was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful recipe!

Reese Cup Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2005
This pie was okay. I am definitely a chocolate-peanut butter lover and I altered certain things so maybe the blame is on me. I used sugar-free pudding, 1 c. of peanut butter and did not use a pie crust. It is important for me to not consume too much sugar, because I have had gastric bypass and too much sugar makes me sick. Even after sitting overnight, it was still the consistency of pudding, rather than a pie. The flavor was good but I was hoping for a more peanut-buttery taste, especially since I used Reese's peanut butter! I absolutely recommend this as a tasty, low-sugar pudding, but I'll skip on the pie. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Super Dooper Peanut Butter

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
I made a small amount of adjustments: I added a little more brown sugar and used about 1/2 cup of crunchy peanut butter. I found that mixing the butter/margerine was much easier after I melted it. I also left the cookies in the oven for about 2 to 3 minutes more because anything less than that was not solid enough and broke transferring to cooling rack. Other than that, this is a fabulous recipe for when I get a sweet tooth! Thank you!

Fettuccini with Mushroom, Ham and Rose Sauce

Reviewed: May 25, 2004
I'm sorry, usually I like recipes like this but this was not a winner for us... Everything tasted fine until we added the heavy cream, which really dominated the taste. The fettucine was hard, the sauce too creamy and not enough spaghetti sauce. I originally thought how I would do it different next time and then the more I thought about it, the more I decided there would be no next time. Sorry.

Easy Guacamole

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2003
My goodness, this was so simple and so good! My partner is of Latin descent and LOVES guacamole but often complains that the store-bought guacamole is lacking something. This was lacking nothing! It was so good that even after we ate, my girfriend sat on the couch just eating the guacamole plain! Thank you so much for this fabulous recipe!

Reviewed: May 14, 2003
This flan is absolutely delicious! My girlfriend is Puerto Rican and loves flan. She always buys the flan that you make from a box, so I decided I would TRY to make this recipe. It was SO easy and SO delicious! My girlfriend loved it and I make this AT LEAST twice a week! Thank you for this fabulous recipe; I wouldn't change a thing!
