As the primary photo shows, this recipe results in a flaky thin crust. I had been searching for a recipe that was similar to the box varieties available in grocery store (minus those heart damaging trans fats). This recipe bares a striking resemblance to those recipes, so I can indulge in brownies without the partially hydrogenated oils. ;o) I doubled the patch in a 8'' by 8'' pan, baked for 35 minutes (which is a bit undercooked). The result was about 3'' tall, moist, fudgy, and, most importantly, yummy!
