Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs

I made this recipe last night and the ribs were fabulous. It was the first time I have made ribs! I had lean cut spare ribs, and I put them in the slow cooker for 4 hrs on high as recommended. I was worried that they would not be as tender as baby back ribs, but they were literally falling off the bone. I used a Tony Roma's BBQ Honey sauce that was so good. Almost want to make them again tonight,as there weren't any left overs!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

This is fantastic! Best apple pie I've ever had! I did read some reviews, and I did as one suggested, to add cinnamon and vanilla to the syrup before boiling. That was the only thing I did different and it was a huge hit! WARNING: So good you will want seconds!

Pepper-Honey Cedar Plank Salmon

OH MY YUM!!! So good!! I did everything exactly as directed, EXCEPT I baked it in the oven instead of grilling.(Baked at 350 for 20-25 mins) I did read some reviews and noticed many people said they need to cook sauce for much longer. I found that if you cook it the 15 minutes and set it aside while doing other prep the sauce thickens as it cools off. I will definitely make this again. Thank you for sharing!!!!

Maple Baked Pork Loin Roast

This was fabulous! I did halve the sauce mixture and still had enough left to dip cooked pork into. Everyone including kids loved it :)

Mary Wynne's Crabapple Jelly

First time for me making jelly and this recipe was great. Turned out wonderful, but I did get a bit of advice from a friend. Not all crab apples are the same, and I wasn't sure if my kind were okay to use. I have small green crab apples. They worked just fine. I added an extra cinnamon stick to the broth while boiling the apples and in order to get the pretty pink colour, I used ONE drop of red food colouring. I was very happy with the results :)
