Lemon Lush

Reviewed: May 26, 2014
I've had this before under many different names. And they have all been tasty; including this one. I made a few tweaks to the recipe but none too complicated. I added about a half-cup of powdered sugar to the crust; just to give it a little sweetness. And I switched out the lemon pudding for butterscotch. I think any pudding will do. I've wager a can of fruit pie fulling would work too. If I had thought ahead, I would have added walnuts to the crust and maybe a chopped handful on top.

Maple Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
I tried this muffins and they were OK. I think one commenter mentioned using stronger maple syrup? Bland as is; but I think if I added some nuts or butterscotch chips I might make these again. Another commenter mentioned they freeze well too.

Apricot Kolaches - Pop Tart dough

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
When I saw this recipe, I thought they would come out like little danishes... wrong. They are more like a cookie, or rather like Pop-Tart(tm)dough. So instead of folding them like the recipe called for I made them into little Pop-Tarts(tm). Thanks to VJGUNKEL59 for the heads-up on the extra 1/4 cup flour to help with the sticky dough problem. Also the heat was too high for the time... So I lowered the heat to 350 and kept the time. Other than that I like this recipe.

Orange Yogurt Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
Very tasty bread, but I had trouble keeping it in a 9X5X3 inch bread pan. I think next time I'll make it as cupcakes.

Family Favorite Bread

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
One of the best recipes for my bread-maker EVER! I make this at least once a week. Closest to store bought bread I've found. Best to make sure you follow the bread-maker directions. Mine calls for liquids on the bottom, dry goods in the middle & putting the yeast on top. Comes out great.
