AMAZING!!! That's all I can say! I have roasted hundreds of chickens in the past, but none as good as this. I had a whole cut-up chicken that I seasoned, and I didn't have time to marinate 24 hours. I doubled the spices, but everything else I followed exactly. This is the only way I will roast chicken from now on. Oh, and I put cut-up potatoes and carrots in the bottom of the baking pan and put the chicken pieces on top of those before roasting.

Lemon Cupcake with Blackberry Buttercream

I'm rating these on the cupcakes only. They were very moist and dense, just how I like my cupcakes. The frosting didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I substituted strawberry jam for the blackberry, and my frosting was not of a piping consistency; it was too soft and loose but it had a great flavor.

Porcupines

Excellent!!! I added my porcupines in a cream soup gravy, then baked. Oh, and I used uncooked parboiled rice, and covered the baking dish while in the oven. I didn't have a problem with the rice not being cooked, it was perfect.

Shoyu Chicken

I followed the recipe exactly, and surprisingly enough our chicken was very bland. I will try this again, but I will definately add salt and some more seasonings. BTW I let our chicken marinate for two days.

Tomato Zucchini Casserole

This was very delicious. I had to cook longer than the specified time, but it wasn't a big deal. Now my zucchini won't go to waste. And I used three different cheeses (mozzarella, cheddar and velveeta).

Baked French Toast

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but we didn't care for this at all. It was too eggy, and I reduced the eggs to six. With the sauce that goes on top, it really wasn't that sweet to me. Don't think I will make this again, sorry.

This was very delicious. I took off one star because the recipe calls for way too much mayo! Next time I make it, I'll start off with a few tablespoons of mayo first. Other than that, a keeper.

Chocolate Syrup

I just made this, and I didn't know making chocolate syrup at home was so easy. I only used one cup of water. I also used half a cup of special dark cocoa powder and half a cup of regular cocoa powder. I let this come to a rapid boil while continually whisking, and I let it boil for approxomately 5-7 minutes. When it was finished it was thin, but I let it cool to room temperature then I refrigerated it. It is the perfect consistency and smooth texture.
