Strawberry Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2014
easy, simple delicious recipe. The only change I did was to add a very small amount of cinnamon and blueberries instead of strawberries. My kids liked it a lot. Very moist muffins and a total surprise how good they were...

Bitter taste. Way too much baking powder. Find another recipe. There are some great ones on this site. This is not one.

Dark Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
This was so easy and one of my favorites on this site. Be warned the batter is very watery but cooks up great. The cake is much better the next day and I put some cream cheese frosting on it. I changed nothing because it is good as it is....

Chelsea's Bacon Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2011
This was very tasty. I actually loved it. I didn't have cumin so I left that out. However it has way too much pepper. With less pepper it would be a 5star. I used the same spice mix for lamb I cooked and it was even better than on the chicken. Update: looks like they reduced the pepper from 2 tablespoons to teaspoons! much better

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2011
Great recipe. I had no wings so I used drumsticks and chicken thighs and it came out fantastic. I didn't have time to let them sit for more than 10 mins in the fridge with the flour mixture (football game going on), but it didn't seem to make a differenece and they came out great. I will make these again.!

Berry-Blue Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
I don't out a lot of stars often. But I totally enjoyed these. I used frozen blueberries and coated them in a liitle flour so they wouldn't sink. Kids thought they were 9out of 10 stars. Very moist and flavorfull

Whipped Butternut Squash

Nice! Very simple recipe but I totally enjoyed it. I didn't have sour cream so I used 0% Greek yogurt and low calorie butter and it came out delicious and lower calorie. I also steamed the squash.

Maple Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
Not good at all. I don't understand the reviews. They were bland and flat. I tried it twice, once as written and the 2nd time with the suggestions of less oil, more maple & I even added some chocolate chips. Still the pancakes couldn't be saved. Soooo many great pancake recipeis on this site. Don't do this one!!

Crustless Cranberry Pie

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
This is one of my favorites. It took about 10 mins longer to cook. I addded vanilla extract instead of almond because I don't like almond. Excellent and couldn't be easier. I'm going to try next with blueberries.

When you cook the sour cream it totally curdles. The tast is good, but the texture of the sour cream is unappealing.

Cranberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Added 1/2cup less sugar and did the applesauce substitute for oil as suggested along with 1/2 whole wheat flour. Just Fantastic! I was afraid all the changes would not be good. But is great.
