This was a big hit in my house! The kids, not big on S&S Chicken, ate the chicken plain, like chicken nuggests. My husband and I really enjoyed this with sticky rice! We're currently stationed in Korea, so this rivaled some of the Chinese style restaurants we've been to here! I also didn't have the self rising flour, so used regular flour with a dash of salt and some corn starch. I also soaked the chicken in buttermilk for about an hour prior to breading and cooking to keep it moist during cooking.
