Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
These ruled! The only changes I made were that I added double the breadcrumbs (didn't want it to be like refried beans), I added pepperjack cheese (best decision ever) and dipped in chipotle mayo (just blended together a bit of mayo and a canned chipotle pepper). Oh, also I did use 2 eggs instead of one. I made sure to strain the onions and peppers as recommended. These tasted amazing. I loved them as did my boyfriend who had never had any sort of vegetarian burger. These are FAR better than the burgers you can buy at a restaurant or in the grocery store.

Vegetarian Chili

Awesome. I liked it with the MorningStar crumbles. I had to keep adding additional tomato juice but that's all. I halved the recipe and it turned out great! Thank you for this!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
These were AWESOME! Stayed soft for days. I halved the recipe and it was fine. I put it on one of those stone things you bake pizza on. People said it wouldn't spread if you used that and froze it. Umm, WRONG to both of those lol. But they were fine. I did add the salt (definitely needed that salt!), baking powder, and extra vanilla as other reviewers had put and I'm so glad I did. The extra vanilla added such a unique awesome flavor. I also used French Vanilla pudding instead of regular. So sooooo good!

Veronica's Hot Spinach, Artichoke and Chile Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This was great! I will add the full 7 oz of jalapenos next time to make it spicier. I used the sprinkle parmesan one uses for spaghetti and was fine. I also added a generous layer of mozzerella cheese after it was finished cooking and put it on broil til golden brown. SO GOOD! SO EASY! Everyone loved it. Thanks!!!

Stuffed Strawberries

Using Baileys Irish Cream instead (an entire mini bottle) to this makes it so amazing. I also love dipping it in milk chocolate and putting some white chocolate chips on the filling.

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
This was amazing! I used to only eat canned asparagus but now I will be having this. This is seriously one of the best recipes I've had in a while! Soooo easy. Soooo good. It's especially great that all these things are usually on hand. My boyfriend loved it too. I am going to try wit other vegetables.

Spicy Vegan Potato Curry

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
This is more a 4.5. I would do half the chickpeas, double the potatoes and peas, and only 1 tsp MAX of the garam masala. When I made it I only used 2 tsp and it was STILL overpowering! I had to add lots of cumin and more curry powder to balance it out. It's very good though. I made the mistake of using HOT curry sauce AND using all the cayenne asked. That was my bad cos, though I love spicy food, it was too much. It really took away from the nice flavors of the dish. Otherwise, I love it. And totally plus that it's vegan :)

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
Deserved all 5 of those stars. Went over very well with everyone.Even people who aren't big fans of cake or chocolate thought this was superb! SOOOO moist and delicious! AND EASY! Only change I made was I used a bit less than 3/4 of the oil called for. Absolute perfection! This will be my go to!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
I LOOOOOVED this and so did everyone at my party. I mean, loved so much they were licking the bowl (not only their bowl but the actual serving dish as well). It was a real hit WITH MODIFICATIONS! You have to only use 1/2 the condensed milk. I cannot even imagine how gross it would be with the full can. It was even slightly too sweet with half. I'd add *just* under half next time. I only used about 2.25 cups of skim milk instead of the full amount since I read a number of reviews saying it turned into a watery mess. Anyway, it was absolutely delicious. WILL make again. People who aren't even huge fans of banana pudding said they loved it because it wasn't that "gross, too sweet" banana pudding they usually have.

Almost Authentic Caesar Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
I made it exactly as written and I liked it but I didn't love it. Something in the flavor was off but I can't pinpoint it. Maybe too much dijon? I don't know. I also prefer a thicker caesar dressing. The croutons were nice.

I couldn't eat it. My boyfriend ate it but didn't like it. Not our cup of tea I guess.
