Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Wow these are awesome. They are so easy to make too. I prepared them a few hours before we were to eat them. I used 24 medium shrimp because that's what I had. You really need a thermometer for this too because if you're not monitoring the oil temp the shrimp will just brown way too quickly. 340 degrees worked well for me. I made a pineapple, horseradish, dijon mustard dipping sauce and it was awesome too. Thanks for this recipe. I will be making it again and again.

Michelle's Coconut Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
Really tasty. Like others, I added my own touches like lime, 1/3 c brown sugar, cayene pepper, tri colored peppers, mushrooms, garam marsala, and a bit or coriander. It was delish with the alterations. My husband was practically licking the bowl. I made couscous on the side and used the rest of the can of chicken broth for it. Yum.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This pie was pretty good but had a little bit of a chemical taste to it. It may have been because of all of the low fat things that were used in it. I think I will make it with the regular stuff next time.

Torsk

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This was ok. In my opinion it was very bland and didn't taste a thing like lobster. I think this would be better with a little lemon. It definitely needs something.

Apple Pecan Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
This really didn't come out well for me. It was super dry for some reason. Maybe I need to add more juice to it.

This is so yummy and addictive. I didn't have any tomatoes and it was still great.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
I made this for a tex/mex themed party we had and it all went. It made the house smell wonderful. I used a whole pork roast and for some reason it never got easy for me to really pull it apart. Thanks for the recipe.

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
I ended up having to make these into muffins instead, the jumbo ones because I left my bundt pan at my mom's. They came out very good. Next time if I made them into muffins again I would out some of the brown sugar mixture one the bottom of the pan as well as on the top and in the middle. I also only used 1 1/2 c. of sugar because that's all I had. I will definitely be making these again.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
This was yummy. A little too blue cheesy for me though. I breaded and fried the chicken before putting it on the pizza. I also added some thinly sliced red onions and a couple more douses of red hot. I love that stuff. I'll definitely make this again.

Brownie Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2006
Delicious. You don't need flour to keep the chocolate chips afloat in the cake. The only thing that I did notcie was that it needed to be cooked a little longer. This is a definite keeper.

Candied Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
This was tasty. If you don't like sweet, this is not for you. I served this over white rice. I cut the chicken into strips, I used a whole onion, dijon mustard, and juice from the pineapple instead of water in the sauce. I'll be making this again.

These are awesome. I followed the recipe exactly. I think I made them too big though because the recipe only made 20 for me. I just wish we had more!!!

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I'm not a big fan of biscotti but these were really good and festive too. These are extremely sticky so much so that I thought I messed something up. To my surprise they set up nicely. I dipped these in white chocolate for a little extra something.

Cream Cheese Kolacky

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
These are awesome. So easy for how beautiful they come out. I doubled the recipe and only chilled the dough for about 3 hours and the dough was perfect. I used raspberry jam and poppyseed filling for them. They will now be a cookie we make every Christmas.

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

I used a different fish recipe for this but used the corn salsa from this recipe. It was very tasty. I used fiesta corn but couldn't find the jicama.

Simple Ranchy Breaded Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
This is one of the best fish dishes I have ever eaten. I thought I had taken out tilapia but it was cod. It still tasted awesome. I used it with a fish taco recipe from this site. Very tasty. Thanks for the recipe.
